Is Rick Perry really that Conservative??

Rick Perry is a Bush Conservative which means he isn’t one. Rush, Hannity and others pushed Bush in 2001 and I said that was a mistake and Perry is worse.

While I’d vote ABO — Anybody But Obama — Perry isn’t going to unleash this country and return to the principles on which it was founded.   Instate tuition for illegals?   Do a search on Slick Rick’s speech before former Messican Prez Vicente Fox where he lamented the fact that “some people” insist on borders!  He also throught it would be swell to have a “bi-national” healthcare program, where Mexicans would get (FURTHER) free health care and US citizens would foot the bill.

He’s been the gov for 10 years.  Where’s the surplus?  Do you know how the debt has grown while he’s been in charge?  He’s another W when it comes to spending.

Finally, Governor Gardasil didn’t back down until the TX legislature forced him.  I’m not getting my kids shot up with a vaccine that’s too new to have definitive data on long-term effects.  I’ve already got dictator Zero telling me I have to buy ObamaCare.  I don’t need a new one telling me I MUST inject my kids against four types of genital warts/cervical cancers that are spread via sexual contact.

Here’s a video of Democrats heaping praise on Perry’s soft as jello immigration stance.

Here’s Perry having a George W. Bush moment. We saw this act 4 years ago and we don’t need it again.

SAY NO TO GEORGE W. PERRY!!

Romney vs Career Politician Perry

Romney created Bain Capital in 1986 with a venture capital start up of $ 37 MM, ALL RAISED ENTIRELY FROM PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS. Since then, Bain has invested in over 110 companies, some successfully and a few not successfully. That’s why it is called risk capital. Bain continues to invest in start ups but Perry was focusing on Romney’s tenure at Bain so I will as well.

Romney and Bain invested in many , many companies , but I’ll focus on 5 of the best and the jobs that were created.

1.. STAPLES
Started in 1986 with one Massachusett’s store. Now, Staples has 1700 stores and 60,000 employees world wide, The company has over 40,000 U.S employees…so one could argue that Bain, and Romney were responsible for creating 40,000 jobs

2. Sports Authority
Started in 1987 with a Bain investment, SA had 9 stores in 6 states. They now have 460 stores in 45 states and more than 10,000 employees in the U.S.

3. Brookstone
Bain invested in 1991, the company has grown to 150 stores in 32 states and 3000 employees in the U.S.

4. Sealy Mattress
Bain invested in 1997. Sealy now has 5000 employees at 25 bedding plants

5. Dominos Pizza
Bain invested in 1998. Dominos now has 60,000 U.S employees at 6000 U.S stores

Rick Perry is another compassionate conservative from Texas that’s soft on illegal immigration and will be a big spender like Bush. His fake compassion will be the excuse for more Government Programs.

Perry’s compassion doubled the debt in Texas. This is the same thing I saw with Bush while these so called conservatives supported big spending Bush in 2001. Perry will be worse.

Perry is one of four members on the Bond Review Board, which ultimately approves most state debt transactions. And over the years, we found, he was a leading advocate for expanding state debts to pay for transportation projects and to combat cancer.

It turns out that transportation is responsible for most of the added debt load under Perry, increasing from basically nothing in 2000 to $11.8 billion outstanding as of Aug. 31 2009. That’s because before 2001, the Texas Department of Transportation lacked the authority to borrow money to pay for road projects. Voters gave it that power in 2001 when they approved a constitutional amendment that Perry supported.

Addressing transportation in his 2001 state of the state speech, Perry said, “I would like for both chambers to pass a bonding program to jump-start construction across our state.”

In 2007, voters also passed a constitutional amendment to create and fund the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas with $3 billion in bonds over 10 years, starting in January 2010. Perry had championed the cause with cyclist and cancer survivor Lance Armstrong and others.

It’s clear the amount of state debt has more than doubled since Perry became governor.
http://www.politifact.com/texas/statements/2010/mar/04/bill-white/white-says-texas-debt-has-doubled-under-perry/

I said the same thing about Bush when people like Rush, Hannity and other conservatives supported Bush. Perry will be worse than Bush.

It’s sad to see Republicans who support Perry hate success. I’m not surprised because Perry and Obama are twins on illegal immigration.

Romney vs. Perry on Jobs

THE JOBS TOPIC is very important and it’s tied to illegal immigration.

RICK PERRY IS SOFT ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION BECAUSE HE WANTS CHEAP LABOR JOBS FOR AMERICANS.

PERRY IS AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS WAITING TO HAPPEN.

This is why George W. Bush, Obama and George W. Perry are triplets on illegal immigration. Illegal immigration lowers wages and makes labor in America cheap and appealing to businesses overseas. So everyone will have a job but you will need 2 or 3 of these jobs to survive or be heavily subsidized by Government. Here’s more on Perry and jobs:

Rick Perry’s Texas is Ross Perot’s Mexico come north. Through a range of enticements we more commonly associate with Third World nations — low wages, no benefits, high rates of poverty, scant taxes, few regulations and generous corporate subsidies — the state has produced its own “giant sucking sound,” attracting businesses from other states to a place where workers come cheap.

In one significant particular, though, Perry’s policies fairly ape the Chinese. Over the past eight years, the state has given businesses nearly $500 million in grants and financial incentives to help them expand. Perry’s economic vision is the kind of race-to-the-bottom mercantilism we’ve come to expect from developing nations in the globalized economy, although, as China, Brazil and India illustrate, many such nations have begun to provide citizens with more schooling and better jobs as they grow wealthier. No comparable developments can be seen in Rick Perry’s Texas.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/the-sad-facts-behind-rick-perrys-texas-miracle/2011/08/16/gIQAxc3zJJ_story.html

Perry will have us on a race to the bottom and we will be a wasteland of cheap labor.

ROMNEY HAS A MORE OPTIMISTIC VIEW.

Romney wants to end illegal immigration and promote and encourage legal immigration and this will bring over better skilled workers and Americans will have better jobs.

THIS IS WHY THE SUBJECT OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IS SO IMPORTANT.

Perry, Bush and Obama see this as a good thing but Romney sees illegal immigration as a threat to the American economy because he doesn’t think Americans want to be a wasteland of cheap labor.

Romney’s expertise in these areas is very important. We need a President that understands how to grow our economy in the midst of a growing Global Economy as well as maximize trade deals to get the most growth for our economy. Romney did this with billion dollar companies like Dominos Pizza and Staples.

SAY NO TO GEORGE W. PERRY!!

Why Barack Obama Loves Rick Perry

RICK PERRY WOULD BE A DISASTER IN A GENERAL ELECTION.

Obama knows he can’t run on his record but against Romney he has to run on his record because he can’t run against the Tea Party or extremism. Obama and the Democrats wnt an election like Harry Reid vs. Sharon Angle in Nevada.

HE CAN ONLY GET THIS IF HE RUNS AGAINS PERRY

Against Rick Perry Obama and the Democracts have a trifecta.

1. THEY CAN RUN AGAINST GEORGE W. BUSH

If Obama tries to bring up Bush against Romney, he will just look like he’s trying to avoid his record. He can easily bring up Bush against Perry as another Governor from Texas who will give us a 3rd Bush Term. I have heard more about Bush since Perry has entered the race than I have heard about Bush all year and by the time the democrats are through, Rick Perry will be GEORGE W. PERRY.

2. THEY CAN RUN AGAINST THE TEA PARTY

Rick Perry is the Tea Party candidate. The Tea Party is popular in the Republican Party but they have lost popularity nationwide. Even at the height of they’re popularity they were stronger on a local House of Represenatives level but their power weakened as they went to the Senate. This is why Obama will follow the Harry Reid model if he runs against Perry.

3. THEY CAN RUN AGAINST EXTREMISM

In a recent Fox Poll people said Perry was too extreme more than other candidates. This will magnified during the election if Perry is the nominee. I would have every Democrat running for office ask their Republican challengers, DO YOU AGREE WITH YOUR PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE THAT HOMOSEXUALS ARE LIKE ALCOHOLICS? Republicans will be running away from Perry like they did with Bush in 2008.

With Perry the narrative will be:

THE REPUBLICANS WANTED A 3RD BUSH TERM SO BAD, THEY WENT RIGHT BACK TO TEXAS AND GOT GEORGE W. PERRY THE TEA PARTY CANDIDATE WHO THINKS HOMOSEXUALS ARE LIKE ALCOHOLICS.

So it will not be about re-electing Obama because nobody wanted to vote for Harry Reid outside of hardcore democrats. When Reid ran against Angle, the question switched to do you really want Sharon Angle the Tea Party extremist to represent you in Washington.

RICK PERRY WILL DESTROY ANY REPUBLICAN CHANCE OF TAKING THE SENATE AND IT WILL BE VERY HARD TO WIN ANY SWING STATES.

SAY NO TO GEORGE W. PERRY!!

Rick Perry is Amnesty for Illegals Waiting to Happen

Rick Perry and Obama are twins on immigration. Romney knows as the global economy increases and the local economy shrinks it becomes more important to secure the border and curb illegal mmigration.

PERRY IS AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS WAITING TO HAPPEN!!

Perry was against the fence.

Perry said that the immigration law in Arizona was too strong for Texas.

Perry passed a version of the Dream Act in Texas that gives tuition breaks for children of illegals.

PERRY USES THE SAME KOOKY LIBERAL LINE:

“You can’t punish the children for something their parents did.”

This fake liberal compassion will get you more debt and an unsecure border. It has nothing to do with punishing anyone, it’s about following the law. In these economic times, you don’t want to give illegals more incentive to come here.

Mitt is the TRUE CONSERVATIVE!!

Look at Mitt, Perry and Obama’s view on immigration and Obama and Perry are identical twins on this issue.

Perry is a Neo Conservative who think open borders and cheap labor are the way to go just like Bush and his Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

SAY NO TO GEORGE W. PERRY!!!!

Romney and the Global Economy

Romney should win the Republican nomination and win the Presidency. He’s right to focus on his business experience because America faces a business problem not a political problem. You don’t need another politician like Perry or Bachmann who will just be the polar opposite of Obama. We don’t need a right wing or left wing idealogue because politics will not fix the problem.

America is crumbling because our local economy is connected to the Global Economy in a more profound way. We need a President that understands how business operates in the Global Economy not a politician who will just try to put in place their ideology.  The last thing we need is an idealogue after Bush and Obama.

The Tea Party is a good thing but it’s limited in it’s reach. You saw this in the 2010 election. The Tea Party was strong on a House of Represenatives level but their reach was diluted as you got to the Senate. It will be even worse with the Presidency. People like Perry will only give Obama 4 more years. He will be marginalized as the Tea Party candidate and a George W. Bush clone and that will destroy any chance of winning the Presidency or regaining the Senate.

We need a President that understands how businesses work in order to maximize trade deals and ensure we get the most growth in the local economy. Like Romney did with Staples or the Sports Authority.

We need a President that will cut spending based on efficiency and not ideology.  An idealogue from the Right will stay away from Defense and an idealogue from the Left will want to stay away from social programs. A businessman/woman knows it’s about inefficiency not ideology.

For instance, say Dominos Pizza comes to you to turn there company around, like they did with Romney, you would have to cut jobs in order to grow the company. This is because some Dominos Pizza’s will be inefficient and they will drag down the company. You might have to close some stores and therefore cut jobs but the company will become more efficient and grow faster and you will end up with more jobs than the ones that were there before you started.

We don’t need career politicians and idealogues who will give us more of the same whether there a Democrat or a Republican.

Here’s a little about Romney from Money online.

People who know him won’t shut up about how smart and pragmatic and decisive he is. “Mitt never takes anything at face value,” says Glenn Hubbard, dean of Columbia’s business school and a Romney (and former Bush administration) economic advisor. “He’s constantly questioning.” Says Fraser Bullock, a former Bain partner who worked with Romney on the Olympics: “He’s not an ideologue. He makes decisions based on researching data more deeply than anyone I know. As people get to know him better, they’ll see an extremely competent, strong leader.”

Romney considers Staples (Charts, Fortune 500) his biggest success. In 1985 entrepreneur Tom Stemberg told Romney that he wanted to launch a chain of office-supply stores. Stemberg was convinced that businesses were paying far too much for paperclips, pens, and, naturally, staples. “Mitt could totally relate to the concept. He’s a person who watches his pennies,” says Stemberg. (Bain initially invested $600,000. Staples started in May 1986 and went public in 1989. Revenues last fiscal year: $18 billion.)

From the inception of Bain Capital to 1999 – Romney’s watch – the firm posted average gross returns in excess of 100% annually. Its assets grew to more than $4 billion. And Romney, of course, got rich.

http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/fortune_archive/2007/07/09/100121803/index.htm

We don’t need another career politician and idealogue.

Romney 2012!!

Why should we nominate George W. Perry?

It makes no sense for Republicans to nominate another Governor from Texas this soon after Bush.  Rick Perry can easily be morphed into George W. Bush 2.0 or George W. Perry by Obama and the Democrats. It’s the same reason why Jeb Bush isn’t running. George W. Bush is toxic to the Republican brand right now. Is it fair? No, Rick Perry is a good Governor. Is it reality? Yes, it would be crazy to give Obama second life by allowing the Democrats to run against Bush via Rick Perry. You will have to spend half the campaign trying to explain why Rick Perry isn’t George Bush. Look what happened with Harry Reid. Reid was all but beaten in Nevada but Sharon Angle gave him second life and now he’s doing the same old liberal thing.

My ideology is closer to Herman Cain or Bachmann but I’m a pragmatist and I know a Romney/Rubio ticket will easily beat Obama/Biden and give us the White House for 16 years.

There were 2 polls recently that showed the Country still blames Bush more than they do Obama for the economy. Why in the world would you want George W. Perry, another Governor from Texas to be the nominee?

Rick Perry is George W. Bush 2.0

Are the Republicans asking to lose the next election? I’m for Romney but I will support Pawlenty, Huntsman or Bachmann. How does anyone think another Governor from Texas at this time will be anything other than a disaster?

When I watch Perry on Cavuto or when he gave a speech, all I could think of was George W. Bush 2.0. If I’m a democrat who makes ads, I would be begging for Republicans to nominate Perry. It would be so easy to morph him into George W. Bush.

His mannerisms are like Bush and his corny jokes are like Bush. The last thing you want to do is give Obama an out. Right now he’s cornered by his economic record, with Perry Obama and the Democrats can run against Bush and Perry will spend half of the election trying to convince people that he isn’t Bush.

Perry would be a disaster!!

Romney leads Obama in new ABC Poll

Again, Romney appeals to independents. His whole career has been about growth. Wether it’s with Dominos Pizza and Staples or the Utah Olympics.  We need a President that understands the global economy and how to compete with emerging markets.

Sarah gets a bump among Republicans who would rather go on a suicide mission to feed their ideology instead of beat Obama. Independents will never accept Palin. Here’s some of the article.

An announcement bump for Mitt Romney and a bus-tour boost for Sarah Palin put the pair atop the field for the Republican presidential nomination. But while their primary standings are similar, their broader prospects for election look vastly different.

Romney appears formidable: In a general-election trial heat in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll he runs evenly with Barack Obama among all Americans, and numerically outpoints him, 49-46 percent, among registered voters — not a statistically significant lead, given sampling error, but a clear reflection of Obama’s vulnerability to a well-positioned challenger.

Romney, though, is the only Republican to run that well; Obama leads all other potential opponents tested in this poll — Palin, Newt Gingrich, Tim Pawlenty, Michele Bachmann and Jon Huntsman. Palin fares worst, trailing Obama by 17 points among all adults, 15 points among registered voters.

Palin does worse than Huntsman in a general election.  64% of the American People said they will definately not vote for Palin and 63% said she’s unqualified for the job.

This is very important because beating Obama has to be the first priority for the good of the Country not to feed your ideology. Sarah Palin is a caricature fairly or unfairly and that’s why a Romney/Rubio ticket would give Republicans the White House for 16 years.

Sarah Palin is the true RINO

She talks about a third party on Hannity when she knows that will give Obama 4 more years. Sarah Palin will never get independents and you can just throw out any chance of Michigan, Pennsylvania, Illinois and Ohio if she’s anywhere near the ticket. These same so called Conservatives support Donald Trump who just gave money to Rahm Emmanuel in Chicago.

Mitt Romney is thr true Conservative. When he talked about individual mandates, he said it’s a states issue.  He’s right but Sarah Palin said she doesn’t like mandates on a state and local level. What would she do if she was in the White House and a state like Ohio did individual mandates in healthcare? Would she send in the National Guard to stop them?  States have mandates about all kinds of things and this is why Texas doesn’t look like Vermont.

In his announcement Romney talked about allowing states to handle some things that the federal government has taken over. This is a true Conservative position.  Liberals and Sarah Palin Conservatives like to overreach. They’re the ones that stepped in on the Terry Schiavo case.  A true Conservative understands that states have more flexibility than the Federal Government.

The same so called Conservatives who love Sarah Palin, think George W. Bush is this great Conservative. Bush was a disaster on the economy. He cut taxes but he did NOTHING to control spending.

Bush – 12 Vetos

Clinton – 38 Vetos

Reagan – 78 Vetos

12 Vetos??  This is in 8 years. Bush was a big spender who did nothing to control spending. You know how many Vetos Romney gave out?

Over 800!!

Many were overturned because of huge majorities in the Legislature. He vetoed things like raing the minimum wage and he got enough through to balance the budget and give Mass. a surplus.

We need a President that understands how business operates in a Global Economy and how we can better compete with emerging markets. I’m glad Romney talked about the Global Economy while Palin was eating Pizza with Donald Trump.

I’m glad Amy Kremer from the Tea Party Express just said on Fox that a third party is stupid and she will not support a third party because it will just give Obama 4 more years.

Palin and Trump are basically saying, if they don’t get their way they might think about a third party. This is shameful and if Palin is anywhere near the ticket the Republicans will give Obama 4 more years and maybe lose the House.
