What’s my motivation again? Is it the fear of losing to Obama, or the fear of being held hostage by the non-choice of either Obama or Romney?

A couple of thoughts occurred to me today, and I realized that no-one has brought this up.

Media talking-heads, and supposed conservative blog commenters alike, keep insisting that Mitt Romney is the most electable because he has the most money and the best organization, and they all want to assure us that even though he might not be the most conservative candidate, his heart and his head are in the right place and he’ll do the right thing if given the chance.

I wonder… Would he do the right thing?

Is Romney’s true motivation, like he says, to save this great nation from impending doom? Or is it for Mitt Romney to be the President of the United States?

Here’s the test.

What if he loses the Primary? Will he use his money and his superior organization to ensure that the nominee wins in November? Or will he give a little speech and take his ball and go home?  If his number one concern truly is the health of this nation, then his number one priority should be removing Barack Obama from office, no matter who the nominee ends up being. If he loses and doesn’t do all he can to defeat Obama, he would be truly despicable.

Is Mitt Romney merely engaging in self-serving scaremongering, or outright extortion? Each time someone from the Romney camp reminds us that he is the only one with the “money and organization to beat Obama’, what they are implying is, ” if you don’t vote for Mitt Romney you’re imperiling the nation.”

Mitt Romney is setting himself up as the gatekeeper of  freedom and liberty, and he’s holding the American people hostage.

If he should lose the primary, he should spend as much on the nominee as he would of himself otherwise he is a traitor, by his own admission.

If he wins I guess I’ll hold my nose and vote for him, but I’ll only be able to do it because I know that at least he has enough American blood in him to realize that his love of Mitt Romney can only exist in a sovereign US, unlike Obama who’s love of Obama requires an America collapsed and subjugated to his Marxist Global Communism. Either way, at that point, both of these blue blood progressive elitists need to be reined in and politically marginalized.

But ultimately, as our good friend Ann Barnhardt said several months ago, “GO HOME WILLARD”!!!

Yesterday, the house voted on HR 2499. It is a so called “non binding” resolution to allow Puerto Rico to vote on whether they want to become a full state. The thing is , it’s is a trick. The series of votes in PR will be set up so that it will steer the vote to “statehood”. It is a complicated game being manipulated by the Puerto Rican Progressive Party, in conjunction with the American progressive left. It is designed to ensure several million new democrat votes to replace the ones they are losing here everyday. The story came to my attention late Wednesday night for the first time. The media, including FOX had not covered this story at all,to my knowledge. When I got home yesterday I made a very fevered attempt to bring the situation to the attention of as many people as I could. The fastest way I could think of at the time, was to post it on the most recent threads on this site and the others to which I subscribe. Knowing that the congressional phone lines would close, and the vote would take place within a couple of hours, I did what I thought was the best thing I could do for OUR country. Apparantly , I offended several people, and I apologize for that. You know what? Come to think of it , I don’t apologize. Maybe my actions were misdirected, rash ,and perhaps even dumb. But , I did what I thought was best for this country, and my children. So, if that offended you …   Maybe I’m not the smartest person here, or the most experienced at internet blogs or politics. But I did what I could because I Love this country and I care what happens. And I would do it again if I thought it would help. Just maybe not here, because obviously etiqutte is more important than intent. So You make the call Red State community. If what I did was so wrong and offensive , then say the word ,and I will leave you in peace. But when you’re sewing that 51st star on your flag, don’t say I didn’t TRY to warn you.

The fact that the media is silent about this protest while bashing every single Republican syllable utttered and many that never even were is too much for me to take. Please call your local media outlets and the cable outlets and ask them where they are on this ! Erick, sorry to put you on the spot , but you are the only one of us with a national platform. Can you make a mention of this? Something? I apologize if I seem shaken and angry , but I AM. These people are burning the Flag  in FRONT OF THE WHITE HOUSE ! We are attacked nonstop for speaking out peacefully and respectfully in defense of our country and these people are shielded from even a little criticism. This makes me sick to my stomach. I may need a new keyboard by the time I’m finished writing this.

 Representative  Steve King of Iowa is calling for all Americans who can get there to meet outside the Capitol Bldg. at noon on Sunday. If we gather outside the bldg. and make our voices heard , they will have to listen or know that they will face the consequences. He is calling for a PEACEFUL gathering of voting citizens to exercise their right to assembly and of free speech. The GOP is in the process of acquiring permits for a large press rally as we speak. The pressure we have been putting on congress is working and now is the time to take it to the next level. This is the last chance to stop it before it passes. We all know how important it is. I for one do not plan to let my children down. Anyone who cannot make it to Washington , is urged to go to your local representative’s office and sit down. Peacefully and politely sit down and refuse to leave. If you are asked to leave , then go outside and sit. Do not get arrested. The representative has the right to ask you to leave his or her office but not the premises. Now is the time to act. We Will be heard !
