He seems very aware of what is going on. When you work for a licensed plumber, the employees themselves do not need to be licensed. He did say he works for a company and wants to buy it. Second if he owes taxes it just proves taxes are too high for the average hard worker trying to better themselves without getting a handout. He called it socialism, he could have said great now I can recieve money I did not earn to pay off the taxes I owe.
