Great article by Gerard Alexander in the WaPo.  The comments are especially entertaining.  They completely reinforce the article.

The long term problem for liberals is that 2+2 does not equal 5.  All of their absolutely sure fire solutions are destined to fail.  If I’m still around, the explosion of cognitive dissonance should be spectacular.

It recently occurred to me that Liberals on NPR, etc., are so infuriating to listen to because they are invariably condescending. Every conversation, even on the air, contains an element of the ‘inside joke.’ That joke seems to be that conservatives and Republicans are so dumb that their ideas can’t be serious. And generally, conservative ideas are never discussed in a serious manner.
