He still has Hilda Solis in there, so the he doesn’t have to pander again and find an Hispanic to replace Billy Boy. I don’t buy the excuse that he’s resigning because the confirmation process would be held up, because even though we’d been talking about the scandal here, there really hadn’t been any indication that the nomination was in any trouble. Makes me believe theres more to the story, much much more.

Wonder who Obama picks now? Laura Tyson? One of the Maine Sisters? Jason Furman?

Richardson was one of a few picks that seemed more political than pragmatic. I didn’t think he was particularly qualified for any job, and I was damn worried he’d get Sec of State.

as of yet. I’ll go way out on a limb and forecast that he’ll resign before Blago does. LOL, I am sure that Gov. Richardson believes he still has a career to salvage. If Blago thinks that Blago does, he is even more delusional than thought.
