Sometimes Open Threads are not around (RS has gotten much, much, much, better, but some days there isn’t one), but that was NOT the case here. Skanderbeg had created a FP Sun March 29 8:55am (stamped) Open Thread that was there and waiting this kind of comment!!!! Then our fellow “Red” (supposedly, from his Blue State) didn’t even put a Link back to the original Drudge report in his rush.

A teachable moment for other casual readers: Had NO Open Thread been immediately present, would STILL NOT EXCUSE a Diary creation such as this!!!!!!!! This could have waited days and then been posted as a retrospect WITH actual links to Drudge and the NYT related items.
