An honest administration would have scrapped the Snitch Line on day 1

Every state and federal administration occasionally just steps in a pile of poo. They say or do dumb things, with the most innocent of intents, only to encounter fierce blowback due to an unanticipated interpretation by the people or by certain groups.

The automatic instinct of an honest administration whose mission is to serve the people is “Oh, MAN, that is my mistake! Sorry, we’ll rectify this immediately! A thousand pardons please!” That administration would cancel the action rather than try to explain how they didn’t mean it the way it came out, etc, etc.

This administration? Not so much. 14 days. While lying, obfuscating, and dodging questions from one side of their mouth , from the other side they repeated accused you, me, and your mom, of being paranoid little whiners trying to make an issue out of nothing.

So spare us if we don’t give them any credit for finally capitulating to an avalanche of justified and sustained citizen wrath and shutting down the Snitch Line.
