Without even looking, I am certain that the crowd selected as the backdrop — what? why yes, I said “selected” — for Obama’s “townhall” meeting in Portsmouth, NH was carefully chosen. Get some good ethnic and gender representation, make sure you have some believable mom-and-apple-pie types, MOSTLY pro but a few anti. But above all, everybody wagging their tails like puppies over the prospect of meeting the great post-partisan uniter. Lengthy applause, adoring gazes, misty eyes. I bet even some of them are actually *from* Portsmouth. Mostly softball questions, but a couple of tame and packaged anti questions so Obama can say he “answered his critics”.

You know what? I don’t give a flying rat’s arse about Obama’s carefully packaged and produced photo-ops. The real show was going on outside (and it was not 100% anti-BambiCare, incidentally). People, THIS is political free speech. Raw, uncut, unproduced. And it’s fun (h/t izoneguy):
