Unable to Blame either George W. Bush or Sarah Palin (though I’m sure it was looked into) for the incident involving a U.S. Airways plane which had to ditch in the Hudson river this week, one of TIME magazine’s writers managed to find a way to point a finger at global warming as a root cause of the mishap.

Indeed, the heat has been simply unbearable since the new year began.
