Bureaucrats support the food and beverage industry, as well as "entertainment." Madoff might be an honest Social Security Administrator. At least he would represent exactly what Congress has been doing for years: spending every penny of the "Trust Funds" and putting not a whit aside for a rainy day. Not to interject reality when fantasy prevails, but I've some knowledge of bureaucrats. When I had occasion to interview one of Reagan's SSA Administrators (yes, the "top dog"), the man sidled over to his couch and answered questions lying on his side! THAT is my perspective on bureaucrats. What the top does, so do everyone else.
