The first – Stolichnaya vodka is now available in cans.

(Okay, cans you can put in the freezer.  Personally, I have a long list of Estonian and Ukrainian vodkas which you can’t get here that put Stolichnaya to shame…. but I digress….)

Even better, here’s what happened when the Saudis asked to fund a mosque in Moscow:

“The Saudis have recently asked permission to build a mosque in Moscow, a city where there are only four mosques and 2 million Muslims. The Russians, however, are saying they want, in return, an Orthodox church in Saudi Arabia.”

I guess the bears ain’t all bad after all….
