We’re still having some technical difficulties, but I think we are on the right track to getting things back up and going.

I believe only the COMMENTS box is cycling properly. The RECO, MEMB DIARIES, & REDHOT, all list new entries for awhile then land up reverting back to some point in time.

MEMB-DIARIES goes back to bs’ “Will she be the second coming” after some new additions appear at the top for awhile, but then vanish. Mine from Sat AM that was on the list briefly above bs’ (as well as one from DOC-HOLIDAY that I recall) still have not returned.

RECO list… The DOC-HOL one we gave enough RECO’s to to get it on the RECO-LIST temporarily until that list puked and reverted back.

feel free to give me a phone call (number in profile, if they are still there?!?!) if you want a better/interactive explanation if it doesn’t seem clear.

Use admin, yourid, other Director id’s, whatever and promote any Diary (like maybe this one: IRAQ ;-) lol … always gotta self-promote) by giving it real recommends and it will promote to the RECO-LIST. It will hang around for awhile, but drop off (and not because of other reco actions), the list reverts back to the ones on it from some time prior. Makes no sense from any angle, unless someone were actually restoring those controlling functions (lists controlled by links in a dir getting restored?!?!? seperate list sub-file holding entry info getting restored/recovered/reverted somehow?!?! … ????)

Any chance you are still considering increasing the size/length of the Reco/Memb-Diaries/Comments lists/boxes!?!?!

Reco’s, some hang to long and no room for others
Memb-Diariies – the Flood of entries pushes many off before alot get a chance to even notice they are there
Comments, well… sheer number of minor comments quickly wipe-off the more substantial ones (would be real nice if (nt) coded ones wouldn’t go into list (back to that thought of wordcount tests)

Just thought I’d ask… We whine… cuz we care ;-)

though I know it is not always appreciated by everyone (maybe by anyone) when I do (but I only say because I give a damn, otherwise I wouldn’t bother)…

Was/Is there really a need to have THREE front page items on the Blagojevich thing? Shouldn’t/Couldn’t have people checked to see if the topic was there already? and shouldn’t/couldn’t one or two of the others just been comments in the other’s Diary!?!?!

Just sayin’ ….. The Page and Lists get Flooded as is!

This is just an example of something that happens several times. Multiple items of the same topic and little to distinguish what is in (to differentiate/separate) them. New topics don’t last long as it is, and poof/gone away faster with so many duplicate/related items flooded all at once.
