The Commander of the American Legion was livid after a meeting with President Obama. And well he should be. Obama now wants injured service members — people injured in the line of duty defending this country — to pay for their own medical treatment. Why? To generate revenue, of course. Somehow, this administration has to pay for all the socialization. So, to cover everyone else’s healthcare, the men and women who fought for this administration’s right to be this stupid, have to pay.
Write your Congressperson and President Obama and Rahm Emanuel that this idea is not just wrong — its reprehensible.

If Obama tries to suspend the Constitution ( I don’t think he can. I am pretty sure there are no provisions for martial law in the US to avoid someone faking a revolution in order to declare it. All he can do is suspend habeas), it will take conservative lawyers fighting him in the courts. Although it will also be fun watching the liberals join us. Some of them do truly believe in habeas and other protections — even against a liberal administration.
If someone funds it, I will be happy to start researching legal challenges to some of the stuff he has done already.

He made alot of mistakes as COS, for example, he went so far as to take the black berets from the Rangers and give them to all soldiers just because he wanted to wear one too. He watched a Ranger parade and figured that since they were so squared-away, that giving the black berets to all soldiers would cause the entire Army to be as well trained as Rangers. I hate to tell him, but it isn’t the berets that make the Rangers good at what they do. He just never seemed to think things past the point of “ooo isn’t that pretty!!”.
