"It is our children I worry about and our legacy as stewards of the liberty delivered upon a sea of blood, which has been granted as their birthright."

A great explanation of our responsibility to future generations. I don't know why people who believe the liberal ideology don't see it the same way.

"The attacks on Sarah Palin are not about her in the end. They are attacks against your children’s aspirations and the thin vines of liberty to which they cling and the responsibility for watering those vines falls to you."

Thank you for this eloquent reminder and most impelling call to arms of why we need to be involved even if it's just, as you said, "making the coffee" .

they will work on the others as their intentions become clearer. I also like Jindal, but am not sure if he is ready either. I also really like Perry. I just do not think he has the name recognition as yet although a standoff with the Obamabots over hellthcare will certainly change that.

As to Pawlenty, I love what he did with the budget this year in MN, however, he is a Man Made Global Warming believer prepared to have the "government" fix what is not broken. My standard tule on this is that he is dead to me.

Mitt Romney I think will be a very problematic candidate since Obamacare mimics what he signed into law in MA and is failing miserably. People associated with him have also been tied to many of the attacks from within the GOP on Palin. I am not a fan.

Nobody knows what Palin's future really is. If she want's to be the face of the conservative movement she certainly to the boldest move to do it or maybe she doesn't give a crap about seeking office ever again and just wants to be a voice for the flyover states and make money before Obama destroys capitalism altogether.

But there are a couple of tidbits of news I've pick up on the past few days.

1) Jindal is back in the spotlight. This guy was outright trashed by the "intellectual" wing of the party after his rebuttal to Obama's joint session speech and it was rather disgusting to have to witness that on my television.

2) Tim Pawlenty returns to the spotlight by not only discussing healthcare but defending Sarah Palin on Geraldo over the weekend and especially picking apart the health care plan in Massachusetts...you know ROMNEY's plan.

3) For whatever reason, Mitt Romney has been out of the spotlight since the healthcare debate heated up and now high profile chattering class like Glenn Beck and Ann Coulter have brought light of "Romneycare" and now have raised questions of what went wrong and whether it was either a good plan to begin with.

4) Rick Perry has built a cushion with the poll in the upcoming Gubernatorial war with Kay Bailey Hutchinson and has indicated a standoff with the federal government if this "Obamacare" is signed off on.

Either these young, charismatic, and for the most part conservative governors now understand what is at stake goes far beyond 2010 or 2012 because if they remained on the back burner and let the corridor dictate direction of the party they will not change the reckless course of Obama and their own political aspirations beyond governorship is on the line.

Or...

Or their own constituents are seeing what has happened to Palin and even though they may think she's not ready for the White House they STILL LIKE HER and realize that if the DC establishment can burn her at the stake out of pure elitist hatred they will do the same thing to them to and gave them as a matter of policy and have since given these guys an earful with specific instructions to DO SOMETHING.
