Colin Powell, who had a press conference today announcing “his” new site, USA Service.org. The site portends to be a site where Powell is “inviting” people to volunteer to “serve” their neighbors. The site is actually being run by Blue State Digital, the same shop that ran MYBarack Obama and now the Change.gov succeror to MYBO.
Cute, they had scheduled a “Bush Shoe Toss” and announced it on the site. I wonder if Powell was going to throw out the first shoe? See a copy of the page here. They have taken it down. Maybe they were afraid that it might just PO a few Americans?

The point cannot be made often enough: Modern liberalism, as embodied in the Obama presidency, is the defender of the status quo. And the status quo is a road to economic ruin. Political forces cannot redistribute the wealth that the economic system does not produce.
