Max Baucus Nominated His Girlfriend to be US Attorney

The AP has the story and this is outrageous and I am calling for Max Baucus to resign immediately

A spokesman for U.S. Sen. Max Baucus says the Montana Democrat was in a relationship with his current girlfriend when he recommended her for U.S. attorney.

The question remains was she qualified for this position or was this New Jersey all over again?  Note: NJ Governor then appointed his boyfriend head of home land security in Jersey

I believe that Montana has recall in their Consitution

as it is mentioned in Article VI Section 8 and this would be grounds to start up a recall effort. I dont know how a new Senator would be picked but we could use this to stall HCR if one of their Senators faces questions about his legitmacy to serve if he is being recalled.

If the story is true, I don’t care whether she was qualified; she could very well have been the most qualified. Senator Baucus’ relationship with her made her nomination (without disclosing this “relationship”) ethically and morally wrong, to say nothing of the “relationship” itself.

Having extensive experience and qualifications in the field, Ms. Hanes was awarded the position based solely on her merit. Since then she has excelled in her role,”

But then, I think have to assume the same about Tigers bimbos.
