Life is about choices and those choices have consequences. The pundits have been busy lately pushing the default meme the Whitehouse is screeching about. We have all heard of the impending Armageddon if the debt ceiling isn’t lifted. We will default, we will have skyrocketing interest rates, we are playing a dangerous game of chicken. The problem is none of that is true or at least doesn’t have to be true.

Obama screeched how the Republicans would kill grandma because the social security checks could not be mailed out (I thought there was a social security trust fund). We heard how the United States would default on its debts. We have heard of the dire consequences that would result. What we don’t hear from the American left is that if America did default it would be because Obama chooses to default. If the social security checks are not mailed it would be because Obama chooses not to mail them out. It is all a choice and it would be Obama’s choice.

See Obama is looking for an increase in credit limit. Credit limit does not mean our government doesn’t have any money, what it means is that our government can’t borrow anymore money. Take an individual with a maxed out credit card. The individual calls the bank and asks for a higher credit limit. The bank refuses and says no deal because they are worried about the individual’s ability to repay. When the bank refuses to increase the credit limit the individual doesn’t automatically default. The individual doesn’t have to stop buying food to place on the table. No it means that the individual has to make due with the current resources. The individual would have choices to make, they may be difficult choices but they are choices nonetheless. Obama would be placed in the same circumstances. Obama could pay interest payments and pay for entitlements and everything essential. What Obama wouldn’t be able to pay for is the frivolous programs the left insists upon.

Let us all get the facts straight. If Congress does not pass a debt ceiling increase it will be Obama’s choice to default or not. It will be Obama’s choice to pay Social Security or not. It will be Obama’s choice for what is funded and what is not. America does not need to pay more in taxes; the government needs to learn to live within its means. Please liberals explain why we can’t agree to reduce spending?

I can explain why we should not raise taxes today and make cuts tomorrow. I can explain my position on why taxes do not and should not be raised. I can defend my position why can’t the left. Believe me when I say this is all about choices and if Obama chooses he can pay for necessities including the debt payments. Republicans need to stand their ground and reduce spending in exchange for a debt increase. No raising taxes until it becomes clear that is what is necessary to balance a budget.

This is not to say the Republicans are without choices of their own. Why is it that the cuts Republicans are proposing are over ten years? Why is it most of the cuts in the out years or in the reduction of growth rather than outright cuts. From my foxhole, I see that during the recession with shrinking GDP and minimal inflation, our Government has grown at ten times the rate of inflation. If America just shrank the government to pre recession levels we would have a balanced budget today and we wouldn’t even been having this discussion. America needs to vote the Career politicians out of office. We need more fresh faces that will do what is right for America rather than what is right for their career. I don’t want someone in office that believes politics is a career rather than public service. Obama has choices to make, The Democrats have choices to make, the Republicans have choices to make, politicians have choices to make, Americans have choices to make. Everyone in America has choices to make, just remember life is about choices and those choices have consequences.

Yesterday the President raised the stakes in the debate over the debt ceiling increase. Like every Democrat before him instead of debate the President resorted to scare tactics. However in this case, the President unwittingly exposed himself, the democrats, and the media complex as fraudsters and liars. The American left has always kicked the Social Security can down the road, claiming that the popular senior program was solvent and had plenty in the trust fund to pay full benefits far into the future. Those of us that pay attention always knew this was the great lie but no one listened. Now I wonder if the left will listen and realize their pyramid scheme is crashing down around them.

Social Security is paying out more than it takes in and has been for a couple of years now. The treasury has been dipping into the trust fund and paying promised benefits from the general fund for a couple of years now. See the great lie is that the trust fund has money in it. Nothing could be further from the truth. The trust fund is filled with IOUs and empty promises. This statement made from the President to scare seniors into making a loud enough hiss to force a deal on the debt ceiling exposes the left for the lies and fraud they have been perpetuating on the American public. If social security were really solvent then the checks would go out as promised because they wouldn’t increase the deficit. In reality, we have to borrow money now in order to pay the promised benefits. Social Security is not solvent until 2036 as claimed. The American left has been spending the money dedicated to Social Security since its inception. That was fine as long as the program took in more than it paid out. However, now it is taking in much less than it is required to pay out and the deficit must be covered by the general fund. If this doesn’t wake up the left to the realities of our deficit problems nothing ever will.

The media complex has been protecting this President for far too long. For years the media has been and will continue printing fraudulent articles on Social Security. Now the media is pushing the meme that it is the Republicans that are uncompromising with the “balanced” approach of their messiah. I wonder if they will even see the fraud for what it is here. Will the media continue to carry Obama’s water and push his failed policies? Will the media continue to allow Obama to scare seniors or will they finally say enough is enough and expose the grand fraud for what it is? The story here is not that Obama is pushing for a “balanced” approach (he has not compromised, he just recycled his last failed budget plan), no the story is that the President in an effort to scare people exposed the Social Security fraud. There is no way to excuse the President for refusing to pay promised benefits out of the so called “Social Security Lock Box” if in fact Social Security is solvent until 2036. Again if Social Security were solvent it wouldn’t add on iota to the deficit, now we all know the fraud the Democrats have perpetuated is all smoke and mirrors and a grand lie told to the American people.

The Pathetic pawns in the liberal media are missing the point entirely when it comes to the oil spill non response from the Obama administration.  The pathetic pawns are worried for their chosen one because of Obama’s lack of coherent leadership.  Instead on focusing on what the government could be doing to avert a catastrophic disaster they pathetic pawns focus one what the government can’t do to avert the impending disaster.  Rather than focus on cleaning up, laying booms, burning the top, dropping dispersant, and skimming the oil while the oil slick was still off shore, <a href=”http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/06/01/obama-and-bps-oil-spill-no-help-from-the-pundits/”>the pathetic pawns come to the aid of a flailing President by asking the rhetorical question “what do we expect?” Then the pathetic pawns lay out the things the government doesn’t have the technology to do for instance “stopping the leak”.</a>

Thus far Obama’s response has been one of laying blame.  The first administration response didn’t come until 12 days after the Deepwater Horizon explosion.  Obama then pointed the finger of blame at British Petroleum.  Then Obama had to be shamed into interrupting his “vacation” so he could actually see first hand the damage being done along the Louisiana coast.  Now Obama is sending his Attorney General to Louisiana to investigate crimes that may have been committed.  The Department of Homeland Security didn’t even know the military had vessels that could assist in laying dispersant until after it was too late to prevent the slick from reaching the coast.

My advice to the pathetic pawns is to call Obama out on his non response. Stop worrying that Obama can’t stop the leak. Stopping the leak is best left in the hands of the oil industry.  Start investigating what the President should have done to avert the impending disaster.  Instead of allowing the inept President to “say” all hand are on deck make him prove it.  Where is the call for volunteers to to clean up the coast?  Where is the military that could be burning the excess oil?  Where is the Coast Guard who could be skimming the oil?  Where is the EPA who should be directing clean up efforts?  Where is the Department of Homeland Security who could be directing dropping dispersant?

Obama didn’t respond until it was too late.  There is no way now to contain the spill.  The spill could have been contained had Obama looked for solutions the Government could assist with instead of focusing on blame and the tasks the government wasn’t equipped to deal with.  I know for a fact that the EPA and military have training classes and scenarios for just this sort of disaster.  The clean up efforts and containing the spill are the focus of the training scenarios.  Instead of breaking out the containment manuals Obama miscalculated the extent of the spill and attempted to politicize the situation for personal gain.  This miscalculation, lack of leadership, and pure ineptness will result in a disaster that could have been averted or at least minimized.  Please stop with the “woe be me” what could the President have done.  The President should have led rather than point fingers.  The President should not have taken ownership of the situation when it appeared the “top kill” experiment was working only to push the ownership back on British Petroleum when Top kill ultimately failed.

The Health Care vote resulted in the American people and reality striking out. Obama came out and said this is what change looks like. Al Sharpton came out and said the American people overwhelmingly voted for Socialism when they elected Obama. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have done everything behind closed doors and cut so many backroom deals that America may not ever know the full scope of corruption in the Democratic Party.

The President and the rest of the Democrats are nothing more than idealistic children that have no idea of what life is all about. They have idealistic Utopian dreams of everyone being “equal” when in reality life just isn’t fair. Instead of offering equal opportunity the Democrats mandate “fairness” for the few against the many. The Democrats are stealing individual freedom in the name of fairness and equality. The Democrats are stealing what makes America the envy of the world in order to promote a nanny state. The elitists believe they know what is good for America. The elitists believe Americans aren’t smart enough to make the right decisions. The Democrats are not based in reality. Today Paul Krugman says “Fear struck out”, in reality it was the American people that struck out.

The President himself dismissed the American public during his so called health care summit. The President at the end told the American people it didn’t matter what they thought they would receive their voice on election day. It is hard for me to believe that the rabid media just allowed this dismissive behavior go unchallenged. The President totally dismissed the entire public at large when he told the Republicans that he was going the route of the backdoor for his glorious Socialist ideas and Americans could vote on election day. The pathetic pawns had a duty to have this point clarified. We have a representative Democracy in America. That should mean that our Representative’s vote the will of their constituents and not their own will. Many of the Democrats sold out their vote to save a failed President. They sold their vote and they sold their constituents.

This amazes me that the pathetic pawns do not take the President to task. The pathetic pawns are in this to promote their own selfish and elitist ideals. The President doesn’t care about Americans he only cares about the party and the politics. Obama and the Democrats only want the power to dictate and this is why they went against the public and forced their will upon us. This Health Care bill was never about America but rather about the Democratic Party ideology. The Health Care fiasco destroyed Democracy in America. The people no longer own their Government. The Government owns the people. All we have left is our vote. After we vote the politicians are free to vote their party ideals and forget the people until next election day.

The pathetic pawns were correct in claiming it was a historic day yesterday. It was a historic day in that the two political party system have officially taken over the government. Yesterday proved that the American people can only speak on election day. The Democrats stole 17% of the American economy and will officially make the citizenry rely upon government. The innovatedness of the American people has died. Government has been the ruin of all great civilizations. Our forefathers developed a form of government to ensure our government never took over the lives of the citizenry. Yesterday that was stolen. No longer does the voice of the American people matter unless it is election day. What our politicians did yesterday was treasonous. The Democrats placed the fate of the Presidency, the fate of the party, and the fate of their special interests ahead of the people. Sorry, Mr. President, you are not America and America does not like your change. Sorry Mr. Krugman it wasn’t fear that struck out it was the American people that struck out.

After passing health care reform is there any doubt who the party of hypocrites is? The so-called party of “choice” just took away the choice of every American. The Democrats pursue abortion at any cost and portray it as “choice”. Planned Parenthood has a meme it pushes of “Its my body”. Yet when it comes to health care it is not the body of the person. We are now all under the control of Government.

That’s right folks the government is telling you what to do with your body. Every American now has to have Health Insurance. The price of being born is an insurance bill. So we don’t have a choice over what we do with our bodies when it comes to a Socialist experiment yet we are supposed to believe in the rights of an individual to abort a baby. Obama is all for having choice for his daughters when it comes to having sex. Obama is all for his daughters not accepting the responsibilities and consequences of their choices. Yet we as the “not smart enough” voter have no choice in purchasing insurance.

The No Choice party, was never about providing choice. As Bart “sellout” Stupak said abortion was always about death. See it costs to much money to have babies, it is much easier and cheaper to promote a pro-death agenda and abort the innocent. Abort the ones who have no choice in being conceived. Yet when a responsible mother decides to accept responsibility the baby again has no choice. The democrats will groan about the death penalty for the guilty. Yet these same Democrats are in favor a pro death agenda when it comes to babies. How can the Democrats rationalize a pro death agenda and call it “choice” yet take away our individual freedom and not allow a “choice”. The whole left is nothing but a hypocritical bunch infatuated with the killing of innocence and the taking of individual freedom.

The Obama administration issued a deadline for Iran to swap its enriched Uranium for Nuclear fuel.  This deadline has come and passed and Obama is still playing golf in Hawaii.  <a href=”http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2010-01-02-iran-nuclear_N.htm”>Iran on the other hand issued a counter proposal</a> in the form of an ultimatum. The Ultimatum is that either the West sells Iran highly enriched Nuclear fuel now or Iran sends much less enriched Uranium out of the country.  Either the US and allies capitulate to the demands or Iran promises to set out to enrich its own to higher grade uranium.

So much for diplomacy.  Obama promised he would meet Iranian leaders in his first year without pre conditions.  A year is almost up and we have absolutely nothing to show for Obama’s apology tours or his diplomacy accept a slap down by the Iranians.  The Iranians are intent on having enriched Uranium in their country.  The Iranians refuse to give up on their plans to have Nuclear technology.  The Obama administration has done nothing to curb the despotic regimes of the world to give of their dreams of mass annihilation. We have lost precious time in the battle against tyranny.  While Obama is busy golfing the world’s dictators are planning America’s demise.

Just today, the Administration comes out as says “Hey we no longer believe the 2007 NIE.  <a href=”http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/34664121/ns/us_news-airliner_attack”>It took a week after the Christmas terrorist attack before Obama could muster the strength to say “hey Al Qaida has been linked to the attempted bombing” </a> The water carrying pathetic pawns are busy spinning this attack as somehow Bush’s fault or worse yet whining that Bush was held to a higher standard.  Obama is at a minimum setting America back 50 years.  Worse yet he is probably destroying America at its very core.  Obama’s inaction and failure to pay attention will further embolden our enemies.  Obama is weak and as Americans we will be the ones to feel the wrath.

Yet another 3:00 am moment and Obama is no where to be found. Iran is in udder self destruct mode and the President refuses to get off the Golf course. The streets in Tehran are a river of blood. Protesters have taken to the streets and are being shoot down by the brutal Iranian regime. At least 15 people are dead including a Mousavi relative. Many rebelling Iranian citizens have been carted off to the notorious Evin prison. But the only thing that could possibly get our President off the golf course is a minor accident involving a minor child of a friend.

Obama was too busy over the weekend to respond to two major National Security crisis. First there was yet another failure in security as a terrorist threatened to set off an explosion to bring an aircraft down over Detroit. The terrorist has an American visa and the State Department had two opportunities to revoke the visa. The State Department failed to adhere to policy and failed to follow up on potentially damning information. Additionally, the planners of the attack were previous guests at Gitmo. Next came the mass protests in Iran. Iranians took the the streets to protest the brutal regime and were shot dead. Assassins took out an opposition leaders relative. The violent crackdown came on Ashura. Ashura is a holiday where violence is forbidden. Yet the brutal regime fired weapons into a crowd killing at least 15 protesters. Yet our President remains on the golf course presumably practicing for the celebrity challenge or the Bob Hope Classic.

One must wonder why Boy Wonder is sitting these crisis out. We must wonder what happened to the eloquent one that was going to bring “Hope and Change” around the world. Obama took the time to come off his beloved golf course when a family friend and an injured child. A few cuts requiring stitches and a bruised ego made Obama jump. Yet when National Security calls Obama sits the sidelines waiting for someone else to do the heavy lifting. Days passed before obama had anything to say about the attempted terrorist attack, and days have passed since the Iran protests began again. What took so long for Obama to come up with a weak and ineffective statement? The answer my friends is that Obama waited for Angela Merkel to shame him into a statement. Obama would have waited even longer if she had not first come out against the brutal regime. Obama would have waited until he knew which direction the revolt in Iran was going to move. If in a week it looked like the protesters may force the regime to make changes or perhaps even fall, Obama would have jumped on his horse and claimed victory against tyranny. However, if the regime cracked down and stamped out the revolt, then Obama could save face for his one on one dialog with the regime.

Obama has blown a historic opportunity. Obama could have come out months ago and supported the protests in Iran. Obama could have come out stronger when the protests began a few days ago. Obama could have brought support to the protesters and when the regime fell America would have looked upon as a great savior. Much like the Albanians look at us for bringing down tyranny in the Balkans. Instead Obama was weak and ineffective, ensuring that even should the protests bring down the regime, the new leaders will look upon the US with disgust for sitting the sidelines. Supporting the Protesters would not have changed one thing in the grand scheme had the regime managed to stay in power and stamp out the revolt. The current Iranian government has no intention of playing nice. They are not going to give into pressure and only desire delays to finish developing their nuclear dreams. Its 3:00 am and the President of the United States is AWOL.
