The most bizarre explanation of blame that I have heard is that all of this is actually Mike Ditka's fault. Republicans in Illinois were begging Mike Ditka to run for the US Senate seat against Barack Obama. As a popular former coach of da Bears most thought he would easily win this election. Senator Ditka would mean no Sen. Obama running for POTUS.

I find it bizarre because it's silly to think you can make somebody do something that they don't want to do. Coach Ditka did not want to go into politics. end of story.

I grow weary and bored from the anal exam given to campaign operations and process. The votes by voters are the only thing that matter, and voters have themselves to blame for whom they vote for.

and DeVine bitterness to follow an Obama win. I would hope that what would immediately occur after the pity party would be righteous divine indignation tempered with prayer for the President-elect and for We the People, who are probably facing our biggest test of character in the worst recession since 1938.

But I am still exploring the notion of what would be the most responsible for a McCain defeat: bad campaign and voter ignorance or a white guilt reckless leap of faith.

I tend toward the latter.

But one thing I am sure of, and that is the total irresponsibility of Democrat caucus and primary voters for foisting such a sorry candidate upon the American people.

more later
