I Remember

I remember.

I remember the beautiful day outside.  Not a cloud in the sky.  Slight breeze in my hair and thinking of how awesome it is to be alive.

I remember listening to the radio making me laugh and lighting up a cigarette.  Enjoying the wind from the open window in my car.

I remember when they first broke news of a plane hitting the twin towers and thinking of how a “joke like that isn’t very funny”

I remember walking past a TV for the first time since I found out that it indeed wasn’t a joke and looking at 30 people huddle around a small 26″ set.

I remember all of us holding our breath as the second plane hit and all of us, Every, single, person getting upset.

I remember feeling helpless and not knowing how many more or what else may happen.

I remember hearing of a plane hitting the pentagon.

I remember hearing of the plane in PA hit the ground and thinking of somehow that being better than hitting another building.

I remember feeling guilty for thinking that.

I remember saying, along with every other person who I saw that day, that we should kill whoever was responsible for it.

I remember people regardless or race, gender, creed, religion, beliefs, being in a state of shock and treating everyone with respect and courtesy.

I remember a feeling of wanting to help

I remember people helping.

I remember everything from that day 8 years ago and I always will.  For the sights, sounds, and smells from that day are forever engrained in my brain.

I now know how people can remember horrible events in their lives forever, because I now have the unwanted honor of carrying my own memory shared by millions upon millions of people of a tragic event.  It is an unwanted, but welcome memory that I keep so that someday I may tell others of what may happened.

I keep this memory so that no one else will NOT remember what happened and who did it.

I still pray for the people that died that day and for the families who were involved, and the people who are effected deeply by an event 8 years ago today.

God Bless all of you on this day Sept 11, and may you all remember, forever what happened.

An Observation of the Left during the Healthcare debate…

My recent thoughts on the completely outrageous workings of the left during the healthcare debates…

1)      Link = http://theblogprof.blogspot.com/2009/08/busted-obama-as-hitler-poster-was.html

Man carrying a giant 5 foot sign of Obama, which is marked up to look like adolf “the asshole” hitler, turns out to actually be a Democrat and John Dingell supporter.  Not only is he a supporter, but supposedly a union member planted there to stir up controversy and turn the health care debate into a purely racist argument.  If people didn’t happen to notice that man being allowed into the meeting via a back door that only union members and supporters could use, one would have to assume it was indeed a republican right wing extremist.

What is more amazing to me is that instead of trying to convince the people who oppose this plan on how and if it would work they would rather call us names and say we are swastika wearing wackos… which brings me to my next point… there must not be any good points to this plan… but I digress

2)    Link = http://www.wsbtv.com/news/20358077/detail.html

A swastika was spray painted onto David Scotts cobb county office sign.  Surely this was the case of a crazed right wing fanatic.  I mean after all aren’t they the only ones who use scare tactics and scary pictures to keep the other side quiet and in check.  I mean c’mon!!!  Again this sign is doing nothing but bringing the important argument on why the majority of people are upset with the proposed health care plan and bringing it back down to race.

There are a plethora of links and videos showing union thugs beating up on people handing out flyers… congressmen (women) talking on cell phones while being asked questions at a town hall…. It goes on and on.  Here is my question of the day.  We know that the 1st story was a democrat dressed in “The Mobs” clothing, so to say, but what if the second story was also done by a democrat in order to keep the debate about race and not content?

What if they are actively trying to keep the facts about the healthcare bill unspoken and instead keep people thinking that if you are against the healthcare and Obama then you are in fact just doing that because Obama is black.   What if this is the only defense they have to keep the majority of upset people quiet?

When I read story number 1 after reading a bunch of other stories who are making me look like a racist by “supposedly” comparing Obama to Hitler just by merely opposing this piece of shit legislation… maybe they should read history because maybe, just maybe, they aren’t all that far from the truth by comparing Obama to hitler.  After all… isn’t the way Hitler grabbed his power and overcame a majority communist party by setting them (communist party) up and making it illegal to oppose the nazi douche bags?  I’m so glad they aren’t trying to quiet our opposition like back then… that would be horrible!!! *cough* flag@whitehouse.gov *cough*….SEIU… Nancy “Pukeinmymouth” Pelosi…

But then again… these are merely my observations.

McCain gets Audited… Obama does… NOT???

Just look Here

Anyone else reading this? The FEC is going to overlook Obama and his “donations” and investigate McCain’s campaign funds?!?!?! Does this make any sense to anyone? I understand the McCain accepted the 85 million in funds and comes with a mandatory audit, but to not look into Obama’s because the committee running the FEC has 3 Dems and 3 Repubs, meaning a dead lock vote, is simply outrageous.

There have been many people complaining how Obama was running his campaign donations and have pictures to prove exactly how it works. You could type in any name, provide a credit card and do the transaction. All of the securities were turned OFF. Let me repeat that. ALL of the security features were turned OFF! Meaning anyone with any card could donate. There were people discovering on their banking statements that someone used there credit cards to make donations. There are screen shots of people blatantly abusing the system Obama had in place. There were even transactions that were tracked back to firewalls in China, Iran, and the rest of the Middle East.

I simply have no idea wtf is going on anymore when someone blatantly disregards security features to get more money and no one looks into it. Anyone know what would happen if a business did that?

Ugh I’m disgusted…

Time to move Onward and Upward

Lets get back to basics

Seeing how we lost tough races this past election I think it has to do with a few reasons. These reasons include the erosion of the conservative views and lack of trust that our elected officials hold in office. We need to fix these problems in order to get our ideas out in the open. We need to re-energize our base and find out why we have come to the point we are at now. I hate to say it, but we need a “Change”. As much as using that word lately hurts my ears we need to seize this moment and change and do a metamorphosis to bring our party back to the right. No longer should we cater to the center and corrupt our views. We must stand strong and fight for everything we believe!

The next four years are going to be a hard time for conservatives like myself to deal with. We now have a President who has been very much against our second amendment. He wants the fairness doctrine, and he has a long history of fighting for Abortions. These are just a few things that are in the balance. We must get out there and make our voices heard so that people know that our constitutional rights are not to be infringed!!!

I for one will not stand bye and watch idly any longer when our government overlooks millions of people illegally stay in America and collect incentives to stay. I will no longer get pushed aside when someone talks about how the constitution will have to bend some rules in order for others. I will NO LONGER let my voice be overheard when a policy matters to me.

We need to work together and bring our party back into focus and put back on track.

Only together can we protect our rights and freedoms.

Only together can we proceed into the dark unknown.

Only together can we succeed in the future.

Almost TIME to vote!

It’s coming down to the wire now and Mr. Obama has yet to be properly vetted by any of the media outlets. The few outlets that have asked questions, like 6 abc, have been banned from further interviews with the Obama campaign. There are still some very important issues I would like answered before election day. Some of these issues are old and some of them new, but none the less deserved to be answered.

Why it Doesnt matter

The lefts ignorance is now at an all time high

As I sit at my desk during my lunch hour I look and wonder what is going on. There are countless facts and proof to back them up on why Obama is not fit to be the President of the United States. None of that matters. The only thing that matters is that Obama is a Democrat and John McCain is a Republican. Black vs White, Hope vs Truth, Change vs Different Change.

I am starting to think this is turning into a high school president campaign where one candidate is offering free soda (health care) and no homework (responsibility) while the other person is saying you need to work to succeed. Who wants to work. Well, I do. I believe that you need to take care of your family and provide food and shelter for them, not receive hand outs that burden every tax payer in the US.

Remember

Today I will go through what I felt during this day seven years ago. I am putting aside all political feelings on how to handle this. This is my memory and my tribute to people who died during September 11th 2001. May god bless them.

What’s amazing to me about this is that I remember that day more than any other. I remember it better than my wedding day, the day I found out my wife was pregnant and better than yesterday. This day was burned into my Brain, Heart and Being and I still am upset over what happened.

Why McCains speech was good

Although McCain’s speech wasn’t as good as Palin’s he did manage to do something he is used to doing. That is, talk to the middle or the road voter. McCain being called a maverick is a good spin on someone the conservative base often disagrees with. He let Palin do the bad talking on Wednesday and this enabled him to hit home the reason he is running and what he wants to achieve.

At times he stumbled and for some reason people from Pink were able to sneak in and disrupt the speech, but he regained himself and moved forward. He didn’t attack Obama and instead told America why he is the right person. On how and why he wants to serve and why he is the person he is today. Through life experience he showed why he is qualified and has matured from a cocky young man into a person who is very patriotic and “has the scars to prove it”.

His strength was never speaking in a venue that big, no, but I believe when push comes to shove he can answer the tougher questions that Obama will not because McCain knows what he wants to do and knows how he wants to do it. McCain doesn’t say things to one crowd and change them for another because he is set in his ways and I for one like that in a person. He has my vote already and I can’t wait for the debates to see what happens.

Also I thoroughly enjoyed how he showed why we (Republicans) are the true party of change. GOOD CHANGE that is!

GO McCAIN / PALIN!!!

My thoughts on RNC night with Palin

After seeing the Convention coverage last night and the speeches given all I can say is WOW! The speeches were great, the tempo was great and the way they delivered (Rudy, Palin) point after point of why McCain should be president was outstanding. Last night before I went to bed I was wondering what people on the left would come up with to trump the speech last night. I gave myself a reason to search out the leftist blogs and look at what they were saying. To my surprise (/sarcasm) they based their responses on her Hair Style, and called her Shrill, and went on to say that she didn’t actually say anything except to put down Obama.

Why shouldn’t she put down Obama? Here is a man who lacks moral judgments, goes on and attacks anyone who opposes him (through his party of course) and has been part of the problem with the leftwingbarkingmoonbatnutjobs in dragging Palin through the ringer, and has been partners with terrorist and racial pastors. I was ecstatic with what Paling did and my wife was as well.

A young Republican

a new mans point of view

During my childhood I grew up in a house full of republicans. My dad, mom, grandparents were all republicans. During High School and college I was rebelling and didn’t vote mostly because of lack of interest and not seeing how one person could affect the whole nation. Call it stupidity or ignorance, but I wasn’t even willing to listen to candidates speak on issues regarding foreign policy, taxes and issues that matter to me.

In the last year I have come to realize that I am truly a republican. My family set of values, foreign policy, military standpoints, and stances on life issues make me see the way of the republican party. I must say however that I was not the happiest person when McCain got the eventual nomination, that is going to come in the next day or so, and am still not sure how he will run things like immigration. I do know that at the base of McCain his family values, beliefs, and future plans for this country are right in line (for the most part) on how I feel the nation should be run.
