None of the state house leaders are going to "follow forthwith," and certainly none in any state who do not already agree will either. I don't know about other states, but the governor does not direct policy here. More importantly, I don't see this influencing Republican primary voters to pay more attention to what their representatives are doing at the state level. Given the damage done to the 10th amendment already, it's really just "feel-good" legislation anyway so long as state law enforcement does not defy past, present, and future federal court rulings or laws that violate the 10th amendment. More importantly, I don’t see this influencing Republican primary voters to pay more attention to what their representatives are doing at the state level.
