Obama states he will bankrupt Coal Industry

Maybe someone in the GOP should get this out?

Breaking in the last few hours, an interview Obama gave to the San Francisco Gate nearly a year ago. He states categorically that new coal plants will be bankrupted through his social engineering policies..

AP Poll has it now tied..

Great to see all the polls showing the same thing

Nothing like a 14 point swing in the polls on a single day, or the fact that the Zogby poll has moved 11 points in four days. Still, I would like to see more like this please: (From the NRO Campaign Spot)

There’s That ‘McCain Pulls Even’ Poll

Obi Wan, yesterday:

“Believe me, there is someone in the Obama campaign who is deathly afraid of the ‘McCain pulls even or goes ahead’ poll.”

Obi Wan had said that he felt the last debate had gone well for McCain, with “Joe the Plumber” finally illustrating the economic differences between the candidates, and illustrating that Obama would try to tax and spend his way out of a recession…

AP, not too long ago:

The presidential race tightened after the final debate, with John McCain gaining among whites and people earning less than $50,000, according to an Associated Press-GfK poll that shows McCain and Barack Obama essentially running even among likely voters in the election homestretch.

The poll, which found Obama at 44 percent and McCain at 43 percent, supports what some Republicans and Democrats privately have said in recent days: that the race narrowed after the third debate as GOP-leaning voters drifted home to their party and McCain’s “Joe the plumber” analogy struck a chord.

Three weeks ago, an AP-GfK survey found that Obama had surged to a seven-point lead over McCain, lifted by voters who thought the Democrat was better suited to lead the nation through its sudden economic crisis.

Biden admits Obama will probably do the wrong thing..

Not only will America get hit, Obama will mess up the response

From Bill Kristol with my comments:

Joe the Plumber has helped give the McCain campaign its closing economic message. Now Joe the Senator has pitched in by helping frame the national security message. And the McCain campaign needs to get the national security issue back front and center–at least close to the front and near the center–in the final two weeks.

Here’s the ad, simply quoting Joe Biden, speaking at a fundraiser in Seattle Sunday:

“Mark my words…It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama…Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy….And he’s gonna need help….Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

Now just let that sink in- he is admitting that

1) our enemies know of Obama’s weakness and inexperience so it is a guarantee they will attack our interests

2) Biden is stating that Obama will need his supporters to stand by him because the American people will not agree with Obama’s response.

Doesn’t that just fill you with confidenc in our future?

New RJC Ad: Obama’s Naive Foreign Policy

Teheran; Gaza City; Damascus praying for Barack

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bq9u3GRa97w

The Republican Jewish Coalition has released a television advertisement which will run for the next two weeks on broadcast and cable television in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Nevada. The total media buy for this ad is in excess of one million dollars.

The ad features a video clip from the July 23, 2007 Democratic primary debate on CNN, in which Senator Barack Obama was asked whether he would “be willing to meet, separately, with the leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba, and North Korea?” Senator Obama replied, “I would.”

Asked the same question, Senator Hillary Clinton replied, “I will not promise to meet with the leaders of these countries. I don’t want to be used for propaganda purposes.” The next day, in a telephone interview with the Quad City Times (7/24/2007), Sen. Clinton characterized Sen. Obama’s response as “irresponsible and frankly naïve.”

RJC Executive Director Matthew Brooks said, “Barack Obama’s willingness to sit down unconditionally with the leaders of these five countries is irresponsible and naïve. Senator Clinton was right that such meetings would be seen as a propaganda victory for totalitarian regimes which persecute their own citizens, sponsor terrorism, and have attempted to develop devastating nuclear weapons.”

Jesse Jackson: Obama will break power of Zionists

Our friend from Hymietown is still the same guy

Washington, D.C. (October 14, 2008) — Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) Executive Director Matt Brooks issued the following statement today on remarks made by Rev. Jesse Jackson:

“Jesse Jackson confirmed the Jewish communities long-standing concerns with Barack Obama’s policies on Israel and the Middle East,” said Brooks.

As reported by the New York Post, Jackson said at the World Policy Conference last week, that Obama would bring “fundamental changes” to US foreign policy in the Middle East. The Post also reported that Jackson said, “‘decades of putting Israel’s interests first would end. Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades would lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House.”

Obama national campaign co-chairman Gen. Tony McPeak echoed Jackson’s sentiments in a 2003 interview with The Oregonian. McPeak said progress had not been made in the Middle East peace process because of the Jewish community in New York City and Miami. “We have a large vote — vote, here in favor of Israel. And no politician wants to run against it,” said McPeak.

“That those with such virulent anti-Semitic and anti-Israel views support an Obama presidency continues to be deeply troubling to the Jewish community. It highlights why Obama continues to have problems in the Jewish community,” said Brooks.

Breaking: Obama was member of the “New Party”

Shocking that he was into a Socialist movement..

Archives prove Obama was a New Party member. This is up on Lucianne.com’s front page and is rapidly spreading around the web. Research by the American Thinker and some bloggers has definitive proof Obama was a member of the radical leftist group “New Party” during his days in Chicago.

Tie it in with ACORN, Rezko, Ayers, Wright, Pfleger and you start to see a picture emerge.

Hopefully someone from the McCain campaign is paying attention and ads will start going up tomorrow.

Biden is going to drop out- say “Hello VP Clinton”

All the signs are pointing to it

With Biden admitting today in New Hampshire that Hillary would be a stronger VP candidate and a better choice than him, you can bet that the Obama team is floating this as a trial balloon.

Even though he is a gaffe machine like no other, even a dummy like Joe Biden is not stupid enough to just say some OTHER candidate is a better choice than him. Not to mention his overweening arrogance and insufferable self-conceit would prevent that scenario.

Add this in with Obama meeting Bill Clinton for a “lunch” this week- and you can bet a LOT of money that Biden will be out in the next 2 weeks due to “medical problems associated with his previous aneurysms”.

If Steve Schmidt and the McCain team are smart, they would begin hitting this point EVERY DAY.

Bring up Obama’s worthless promises- like Rudy Giuliani did at the Convention, and then say that it would not surprise anyone for Biden to be dropped because he was such a woeful decision. This would lead to two possible outcomes: it weakens Joe Biden in the minds of the public and the Obama camp has to then come back and say “no Biden is actually great and we are sticking with him”

Or as more likely, it sets the groudwork for being able to bash Obama once he makes the switch as the fraud and incompetent he truly is. Either way we win.

But we have to act NOW to prepare the public opinion battlefield.

Biden (D-Plagiarism) confuses brigades with BATTALIONS..

If this was OUR Veep who goofed on basic military knowledge..

Hmm, guess all that foreign policy gravitas and learning of four decades in Washington never really paid off for the guy. Then again, with his FIVE military deferments it is not shocking that Biden has NO CLUE as to anything to do with the military.

“And for the third time since his acceptance speech a week ago, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee confused battalions and brigades.

“Over a year and a half ago,” Biden said of Obama. “He said we need two more combat battalions in Afghanistan.”

Actually, Obama called for two more combat* brigades*.

A brigade is bigger than a battalion — a brigade, in fact, is composed of a varying number of battalions.

The chairman said he expects to receive an agreement soon signed by the Iraqi and U.S. governments. “It’s going to say it’s time to turn over responsibility to the Iraqis and set an absolute date to bring our troops home,” Biden said. “So, if Barack Obama is the agent of surrender, George Bush is the one signing the surrender papers!”

Biden noted that he “left part of me here in Ft. Myers. You have one of the best hospitals in America, Lee County Memorial,” he remembered. “They have my gall bladder.

“I got down here one time with my dad and wife at three o’clock in the morning, and woke up with this awful, awful pain and thank God, thank God, you have — it’s rated one of the top 100 hospitals in America, so you should be very proud. And I can testify to the fact that you’ve got the best doctors and the best nurses of any place I’ve ever been, and I’ve spent a lot of time hanging out with doctors and nurses.”

But it wouldn’t be a complete day for Biden if he didn’t make a slip-up about who’s actually at the top of his party’s ticket.

“We’re stepping up to the ball here, the Biden — excuse me, the Obama-Biden administration,” Biden said. “No, that wasn’t a Freudian slip, I was just talking about myself,” he said as the crowd laughed. “Believe me, believe me, you got it right, Obama-Biden, I got that part,” Biden continued, laughing.

“Oh, Lordy day, I tell ya,” he said, chuckling as his voice trailed off.

Obama Aides Defend Bank’s Pay to Biden Son

The whole Biden family is involved in lobbying and kickbacks

What a surprise that a 6 term/35 year Washington Insider has his sons neck deep in lobbying for interests before his own committee.

Then again, nothing screams “hope and change” more than choosing a guy who has spent a total of three years NOT on the government payroll, and who first moved to DC the same year John McCain was having his arms broken by the North Vietnamese.

New York Times By CHRISTOPHER DREW and MIKE McINTIRE

During the years that Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr. was helping the credit card industry win passage of a law making it harder for consumers to file for bankruptcy protection, his son had a consulting agreement that lasted five years with one of the largest companies pushing for the changes, aides to Senator Barack Obama’s presidential campaign acknowledged Sunday.

Biden’s son, Hunter, received consulting fees from the MBNA Corporation from 2001 to 2005 for work on online banking issues. Aides to Mr. Obama, who chose Mr. Biden as his vice-presidential running mate on Saturday, would not say how much the younger Mr. Biden, who works as both a lawyer and lobbyist in Washington, had received, though a company official had once described him as having a $100,000 a year retainer. But Obama aides said he had never lobbied for MBNA and that there was nothing improper about the payments.

Campaign officials acknowledged that the connection between the Bidens and MBNA, the enormous financial services company then based in their home state of Delaware, was one of the most sensitive issues they examined while vetting the senator for a spot on the ticket.

Mr. Biden’s support for the bankruptcy changes, which were signed into law in 2005, puts him at odds with Mr. Obama of Illinois, who opposed the bill and has criticized the presumptive Republican nominee, Senator John McCain of Arizona, for supporting it. Consumer advocates and other Democratic allies remain sharply critical of Mr. Biden’s actions, saying in recent days that they could hamper the campaign’s efforts to attack the Republicans over their handling of the nation’s credit crisis.

Michelle Obama steered contracts to Barack supporters

When the Post reports on Obama's corruption- you have problems

What a shock! You mean there might be graft and political back washing going on in Chicago?!! Wow, it is not like that has ever happened before. And isn’t it funny, that a woman with little qualification suddenly is offered a job AT A HOSPITAL with a salary of $315,000 a year.

And also funny enough, she happens to be married to a politician who represents the same interests as that hospital? There couldn’t be a connection there- no way!

Contracts Went to a Longtime Donor

By Joe Stephens Washington Post Staff Writer
Friday, August 22, 2008; A04

Two years ago, the office of Michelle Obama, the vice president for community relations at the University of Chicago Medical Center, published a glossy report detailing the improvements her office had made in the lives of local residents, in part by increasing ties to minority contractors. Center administrators declined to disclose which businesses benefited; the report lists one — Blackwell Consulting Services.

In 2005, the center expanded its bidding process and invited African American businessman Robert Blackwell Sr. to join a competition to upgrade the center’s intranet, the in-house equivalent of a Web site. His company, Blackwell Consulting, won contracts totaling nearly $650,000.

Blackwell and his family, records show, have been longtime donors to the political campaigns of Michelle Obama’s husband, Barack. Robert Blackwell Jr., a former partner in the firm, is a major fundraiser for Barack Obama. At various times, Blackwell Sr. says, his and his son’s businesses each have retained Barack Obama as an attorney.

“I love Barack. I’m telling you, he’s a wonderful guy,” Blackwell said in an interview.

A spokeswoman for the medical center, Kelly Sullivan, said Michelle Obama “was not involved in the selection process.”

Blackwell Sr. described the genesis of his contract as “really fuzzy.” Sometime in 2004, he said, an employee of the center’s diversity office — he cannot remember who — mentioned an opportunity to bid on contracts there and offered to “talk us up.”

Blackwell Sr., who served with Michelle Obama for years on the board of a local literacy group, said her diversity program is critical because minorities don’t always enjoy the informal social connections available to others.”

Yeah- because we all know minorities in CHICAGO have a real tough time winning contracts from the government!!

Obama cares for all lost brethren- except for his own!

Obamessiah quotes Mathew- while his brother lives in poverty

Apparently between Michelle’s fabulous dresses, Manolo Blahnik shoes, $20,000 to Reverend Wright, personal trainers, piano lessons for the girls and their million dollar house in the ritziest part of Chicago there is just nothing left to help poor George Hussein Obama make more than 12 dollars a year..

Barack Obama’s ‘lost’ brother found in Kenya
Senator Barack Obama’s long lost brother has been tracked down for the first time living in a shanty town in Kenya, reports claimed.

By Nick Pisa in Rome
George Hussein Onyango Obama, Senator Barack Obama’s long lost brother was tracked down living in a hut on the outskirts of Nairobi Photo: Guy Calaf, Vanity Fair, Italy The Italian edition of Vanity Fair said that it had found George Hussein Onyango Obama living in a hut in a ramshackle town of Huruma on the outskirts of Nairobi.

Mr Obama, 26, the youngest of the presidential candidate’s half-brothers, spoke for the first time about his life, which could not be more different than that of the Democratic contender.

“No-one knows who I am,” he told the magazine, before claiming: “I live here on less than a dollar a month.”

According to Italy’s Vanity Fair his two metre by three metre shack is decorated with football posters of the Italian football giants AC Milan and Inter, as well as a calendar showing exotic beaches of the world.

Obama has Lost 18 points on Intrade

38 point lead in July down to 20 today..

In the last week he has lost 7 points.

On July 14th he was at 68 to win and McCain was at 30.

Today one share of Obamessiah can be purchased at 58, one for Johnny Mac can be purchased for 38.

Not too shabby after the miraculous love tour of Europe where hundreds of thousands of Germans shouted his name in unison.

Because we all know how important the thronging German masses are for determining appropriate political leadership.

Obama’s 245th Flip Flop…

Is there ANYONE keeping track of these?

Along with throwing Jeremiah Wright under the bus,

flip flopping on Jim Johnson within one week,
the status of Jerusalem flipping within ONE day,
his positions on gun control and abortion and the surge in Iraq,
timetables for retreat, campaign finance money,
debating Mccain “anytime anywhere” and

about one hundred other issues we can add YET ANOTHER flip flop..

Anyone else see a trend here? Just coincidentally whenever the polls or the audience wants something, Obama miraculously has a position to grant them their wish. Even though he had the opposite position the day before. Strange..

This particular flip flop was in Titusville Florida to the NASA team yesterday. Before he was for cutting their budget, now he has seen the light and has always been for full funding.

It would be nice if the GOP or some bloggers could start rolling out ads showing his waffles from one direction to the exact opposite tack. And then at the end of the ad show Obamessiah whining to the press to stop asking him questions so “I can finish my waffle here”.

I think that you could do an entire series of waffle ads and hand out waffles at the RNC Convention and trail him everywhere with waffles. That would get the idea out in mainstream America that Obamboozle can not be trusted in anything he says..

Pelosi: No drilling “in order to save planet”..

Nice to see her priorities in order

In an article in Politico on the GOP starting to link Obama to Reid and Pelosi in the Congress there is this little nugget:

“They’ll also begin to use “Pelosi-Reid-Obama” in the all-in-the-same-breath way that Democrats now use “Bush-McCain” — to make the parties’ popular candidates indistinguishable from their less beloved incumbents.

*Pelosi has told Politico that she’s standing in the way on a drilling vote because she’s determined to use the speaker’s gavel to “save the planet.” *Reid said Monday that he would allow votes on amendments to a long-stalled energy package, including one on drilling, and Republican leaders were skeptically considering the offer Monday evening.”

Uh, perhaps someone at the RNC might want to put together an ad where the American public can see that the Speaker of the House and second in line to the Presidency would rather middle class folks pay 5 dollars for a gallon of gas so that the “planet can be saved”.

What would we do without liberals?!!

McCain leads in Colorado, close in Michigan and Minnesota

Todays good news polls

How Close are Colorado, Minnesota, and Michigan?

I’m not going to pay an enormous amount of attention to the polls until after the conventions, because I expect Obama to get a big bump coming out of Denver (10 points? 15? 20?) and I expect McCain to steadily close that gap after the Republican convention. The race will probably be close by October, but each candidate is going to get a boost between now and then.

But if this batch of polls from Quinnipiac is accurate (big if), Team McCain can feel a little better. Sure, McCain’s only head by 2 percent in Colorado, a red state Bush carried by 4 percent in 2004. But they’ve also got McCain down by 2 in Minnesota and within 4 in Michigan, all of which is within the poll’s margin of error. I’d say if McCain wins either Michigan or Minnesota, he’s almost certain to win. As the 538 map points out, Ohio and Michigan are the tipping point states. If McCain wins Minnesota, he’ll win Ohio and Michigan. Having said that, most polls this year have shown Obama leading Minnesota by a healthy margin.

07/24 10:33 AM Jim Geraghty National Review

Let’s discuss ways to beat Obama

He has so many weaknesses, if we can take advantage

Here are two excellent articles filled with analysis based on the historical record of past elections. I believe that McCain will NOT be able to win this if the election is about him, he can only win if he makes it clear to the American people that Obama is an unacceptable choice on many levels.

The JUDGEMENT aspect needs to be hammered. Obama admits he has no experience, no real legislative accomplishments. But he maintains his judgement is superior to McCain.

Is that true? Reverend Wright. Father Pfleger. Attended Million Man March with Farrakhan. Snorted cocaine at the same age McCain was at the Naval Academy and flying fighter jets. Argued vociferously that the Surge would fail and the war was lost. Jim Johnson. Rashid Khalidi. Abu Albunimah. “Undivided Jerusalem”

The list goes on. Add to it!!

http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=NWM1ZmQ1NjcxYzE2ZWY2OWZiMmVlMzQ5ODI5ZjUwM2I=

The good news for Republicans is that Obama can be beaten. The bad news is that the McCain campaign has embarked on a course that — although it has some of the right elements — seems likely to fail.

McCain would be most comfortable running in accord with his particular notions of political virtue while emphasizing character, national security, and a few pet causes such as earmarks. If he wants to win, he has to leave his comfort zone. He should take a page from Hillary Clinton. She did not, of course, defeat Obama, but she road-tested a strategy that cost him support among crucial constituencies — and that strategy is even better suited to McCain’s general-election run than it was to her primary campaign.

Iraq Trip is going to hurt Obamessiah

No matter what he says- the truth is going to come out

One thing that I have been dwelling upon lately has been the possible consequences of Barack’s Superstar World Tour 2008. He believes that he can gain Presidential stature and gravitas. However, one thing he may not have counted on is the same thing that has helped him win the nomination in the first place. Namely, the mainstream media.

Imagine that Centcom and MNF-I is able to go on the offensive five days before Obama touches down at BIAP. IF they are able to wreck Al Qaeda and the Quds Force in that week and deprive our enemies the ability to launch massive VBEID and SVBEID attacks- the GOP has a chance to radically change the view of the Iraq liberation.

And not through anything we will do. But, suddenly, the vast minions of the media who trail behind the Pied Piper of liberalism is going to be on the ground in BAGHDAD. What are they going to do while they are there?!

There are only so many interviews with Malia and Michelle Obama that they can conduct. They may have to actually go and INTERVIEW MILITARY OFFICERS at the Al Faw Palace. They may actually WALK AROUND BAGHDAD MARKETS. They may actually interview Iraqi police and civilians, and grab a beer from one of the 55 alcohol selling stores in downtown Baghdad.

And these facts will start to come out. Let us pray we can keep our enemies off balance and the media will be forced to report the truth of progress in Iraq.
