No. Really. She said that.

I am not one of these people who thinks that contraception is a sin. Far from it. I just never had it in me to suggest the positively ghoulish idea that providing contraceptives would be desirable so that the state and federal governments can reduce costs in the long term. What’s next? Adoption of the Chinese “one child” policy?

China, due to their One Child policy, needs to have their economy grow at roughly a 7% annual clip in order to cope with the damaging effects of turning their demographics upside-down. They can get away with it short term; their per-capita GDP is mere pittance compared to even some of the poorest countries in Eastern Europe, and they have upward movement for a while. We don’t.

And copying them, to say nothing of their barbaric enforcement practices, is a good idea… why?

In her reality, to what end were we put on this earth?

On the one hand, her deranged worldview dictates that we need to be clients of the state. On the other, we should limit our numbers so as not to be such a nuisance to the state.

I’m not sure how her comments are not racist. Margaret Sanger would be proud. It IS population control, but really it is population control of a particular part of the population that needs controlling in her view.
