Heck I have been saying the same thing here on RS since the talk of the first bailout arose and so have many others, but what do I know, I am just a normal guy who doesn’t work on wall street.

As a matter of fact, I really suspect that the liberals actually DO know that these policies fail in the grand scheme of things, but, as discussed in this video, they DO have a redistributive effect in the short run, and that is what the liberals really want.

Any excuse they can use to redistribute the money of productive Americans to their constituencies, they will use. This is of course a design of the elitist liberals, who don’t really care about the poor, but use redistributive policies to manipulate the poor into voting for them, so that they can implement their liberal cultural agenda, which is what they really DO care about.
