Don’t Be Fooled

Politicians do not voluntarily limit their own powers, unless they are named “George Washington.” So when you read this story and its claims that Joe Biden believes the power of the Vice Presidency ought to be scaled back, for the name “Joe Biden” substitute “Barack Obama.”

I wonder how Biden feels. He has gone from being his own boss and the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to . . . well . . . this. And he will never run for President (in 2016, he will be one year older than John McCain was this year when he ran). There had better be a lot of funerals overseas, or else, the Vice President-elect is going to get really bored, really quickly.

And he may talk in public about his boredom in his inimitable way. And won’t that be fun to listen to?

Joe who?

I think the man fell off of the Earth. Maybe NASA has him on a secret mission to Mars. I bet if polled, not even 20% of the country could Identify Biden as the VP.

Joe is occupying the office strictly pro forma. I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama was looking into whether he was constitutionally required to have a VP.

A heartbeat away...

He’s been put on a shelf. They can talk all that they want to about vigorous participation in debates, and full briefings every day, but such talk rings hollow. The mere fact that they feel compelled to mention it makes it questionable; sort of like paid commercials to advertise your integrity.

If you pay someone to sit on his butt, you can’t be surprised when he does.

He hit the cable news

yesterday for the first time in weeks.

the BIG STORY? HE BOUGHT A PUPPY!!!

Once again, the VP job turns into its former visiage as barely worth “a warm bucket of spit”.

Joe was a general tool before the election. Now he’s just Barry’s tool.

Lucky him.

Can't think of a better reason to limit the powers

of the Vice President than Vice President Joe Biden.

I never want to hear again of bipartisanship. The only time I want a Republican “reaching across the aisle” is to smack a liberal.
