Over 2.7 million Iraqis have fled to other countries to escape the fighting in Iraq. Another 2 million are displaced within the country. Your somewhat arrogant “I’ve been there” approach does not remedy these facts. Whether you like it or not, Iraq was a sovereign nation before we invaded. Civilized societies are supposed to respect international law. Because you you are willing to use my tax dollars for warfare, and I’m not allowed to reject this usage, that makes myself and people like Mr. Obama not as patriotic or virtuous as you? You may be a victim of the war, but you are also quite misinformed and sanctimonious. Maybe if you’d spent 12 years in Iraq (without a weapon), there would be some validity to your logic. Unfortunately, it is hard to see it as anything other than propaganda. I’m sorry for the loss of your limb, but that does not give you a free pass on U.S. foreign policy. Besides, millions of people asked you not to go. But your pride and ego caused you to dismiss those voices, just as you do now when it has become quite apparent that the invasion of Iraq was a fraudulent endeavor perpetrated by self-interested parties. A truly strong nation is one that need not show the world the force it is capable of. Unfortunately you have brazenly partaken in the greatest crime ever levied against the great people of this nation by its leaders. President Eisenhower warned us of these days, but you and many like you ignored the warnings. The war is currently costing us 10 million dollars a month. People are losing their homes, yet military spending is at an all time high. We hear a lot about about how we owe you. My question is, when will you apologize for treating those of us who want an America we can be proud of as less than you?

I’ve never donated much to campaigns in the years of being a voter, but I did send them some money. We have to do whatever we can to stop the “communist organizer.”

They think the Rev Wright AD coming from the PAC could sway enough voters to make a difference. GOD HELP US!
