First off, we’ll discuss who will receive coverage through this new health care legislation. Democrats claim that around 32 million Americans will receive coverage from their debacle of a health care bill. So, we will go through the actual substance of who will and won’t receive (so called free health insurance).

First, if you do not get health insurance through your employer and don’t qualify for medicare or medicaid the government will subsidize (definition of subsidize: websters #2 to purchase the assistance of by the payment of a subsidy, {Neat Websters definition of subsidize: to secure the cooperation of by bribery or buyover} ) or intern, provide you with taxpayer money to buy a given health insurance plan.

*The subsidy handout will benefit people the most with an annual income around the medicaid cutoff of $14,400.

*If you do not have insurance, you will be charged a penalty of $695 a year, or tax on either the national average cost of a health care plan or 2.5% of your adjusted gross income.

(if you do not have insurance for 10 months out of the year, the governement will only put a tax bracket on you for those months you are without insurace)

According to the Congressional Budget Office, estimates say that about 8 million people will opt to take the cheaper penalty than to buy an individual health plan. This, combined with the doing away with pre-existing conditions puts private insurance companies at risk. It is impossible not to raise premiums when people are going to only purchase health care insurance when they are sick. This is like buying fire insurance when your house is on fire, or buying car insurance once you have gotten in a wreck.

*75% of Americans already have health insurance.

So, let’s think in these terms. You with your health insurance plan have paid premiums for 15 years. You, as an individual have put money into the system. So, in turn, when you go to the doctor or ER, you have paid for your bill yourself. So, let’s take into account a person who may not have had a job and didn’t enroll in an employer’s benefits, or a person that worked part time at a dead end job that didn’t have the option to purchase health insurance. All of the sudden they have the ability, when they get sick to call a health insurance company in thier particular state -( remember these insurance companies are no longer allowed to deny coverage), they enroll in a health care plan. While you paid your premiums for you and your family, and they did not, but if you both got sick on the exact same day, under Obamacare, you both are afforded the same rights to health care coverage. Now i don’t know, but would that anger you, if you paid in thousands of dollars, and they haven’t paid in a single penny and we both now are afforded the same (what Liberals call “human rights”).

As Americans we know the more people you have paying into a system, the more money that system will have, correct? But, under Obama’s health care plan, restrictions of insurance companies to deny a claim based on someone who jumps on an insurance plan when they get sick is not longer an exception, and undeniably, without a doubt will raise costs for the person who paid thier premiums, or for the person who paid into thier policy for 15 years.

* Former director of CBO, Douglass Holz-Eakin, said “The budget office is required to take written legislation at face value and not second guess the plausibility of what it is handed, so fantasy in, fantasy out…in reality if you strip out all the gimmicks and budgetary games, and rework the calculus – a wholly different picture emerges; the health care reform legislation would raise, not lower federal deficits by 562 billion dollars.”

Listen to this, to operate the new programs over the first ten years, future Congresses would need to vote for $114 billion in additional annual spending, and to cut $463 billion dollars from medicare spending(For our Grandparents, who have payed in since this mess was established in 1965), for use in financing insurance subsidies, but medicare is already bleeding red ink and the health care bill has no reforms that would enable the program to operate with less costs in the future.

Kathleen Sebelius is the head of the Department of Health and Human Services. After Obamacare passed this is what she said, “once people understand what’s in the bill and the fact that a lot of what they’ve been hearing has never been contemplated, has never been in the bill, that they’ll be very enthusiastic about what Congress did last night.” Well, hate to tell her, Americans oppose this health care bill. Now this is from Rasmussen polls, so yes i was staying as UN-BIASED as possible with this number. Many, many, numbers are much higher then this.

* 54% of Americans STRONGLY oppose this health care bill

* 57% of Americans believe if the bill is implemented Health care costs will go up

* 17% of Americans believe this Health care bill will reduce costs

* 81% believe that the PROJECTED WHITE HOUSE costs of this bill, will be more than put forward.

(This doesn’t mean the other number of whatever percentages stated favored, or supported this bill, cause their were also undecided in the percentages also)

That is a quote by a true conservative republican, who is fighting hard in the House to let the peoples voice be heard. During the health care debate he was one of the most out spoken, and truely one of the only congressman speaking up for the majority of Americans and what they thought about this health care bill. In my mind, once again, he is a perfect example of the type of republican we need to fight for our rights in congress. We need true conservatives who will stand up and oppose these liberal agenda bills. And not let Democrats try to change the framework, and put aside the Constitution of the United States, to do what they “believe” what would be best FOR US AS AMERICANS! Well…we will show them what Americans want in November. And that will be our voice against the opposition.

Medicaid and Medicare costs to the States and Doctors

Democrats are known for wanting more government and more options to the federal government to run your daily life. I myself am in favor of less federal government, putting money in my pocket and making sure i have the decisions on a daily basis to decide, what, were and when i want to spend my money. If we raise taxes, because that is the way to make up for government spending, who wins? Not me as the individual. Not me as the single peron, or person with a family of four who wants to buy my child a new baseball bat. Republicans will give you the opportunity through tax cuts, less federal spending and smaller government the opportunity for the individual or the smaller group of citizens to decide what is best in their communities, schools, and towns.

Lets take a look at why doctors would even want to stay treating patients, or take out thousands of dollars in student loans to learn a practice that takes years and years of service, and dedication.

* Physicians are paid 81% of costs for Medicare compared to private insurance companies

* Physicians are paid 56% of costs for Medicaid compared to private insurance companies

Do you not think as doctor you think twice about accepting these patients? Or that if someone who comes into your office with Medicaid, knowing you won’t cover alot of your costs with the person sitting in the waiting room you would want to give them the same level of care. Yes, cause it is a doctors duty. Liberals will tell you all day that these are the problems facing America. I say, why is this person making uch a poverty level income that they have to be covered under medicaid?

In order to cut $30 billion dollars in cost for the bill. Starting in 2013 STATES will have to pay the same reimbursements for Medicaid patients that they do for Medicare patients. So going from 56% to 81%. Surely so that, like they say, doctors wont go out of business. Instead of the federal government taking responsibility they will lay it in the states hands. Cause the costs of all these medicaid reimbursements defiantly, and surely won’t come from the federal government. And lets keep in mind now, this is all your tax dollar money.

* Anyone who makes under 133% of the poverty level will be pushed into a state funded medicaid program.

Individual *$10,830 by 133% = $14,403

Family of 3 *$18,310 by 133% = $24,352

Family of 6 *$29,530 by 133% = $39,275

What this means, is anyone making under these income levels above will be automatically pooled into the states medicaid programs. So the federal government said they cant have the states footing the costs, and the state taxpayer and state governments taking on this burden right away so we will shield it from Public view when most of thi bill goes into effect in 2014. So what they did was, the federal government said they will pick up the reimbursement costs for Medicaid for TWO years, 2013 and 2014. So we will look at the three most budgeted shortfall states in our union…

New York budget deficit of $3.2 Billion (per medicaid)

In 2007 New York spent $22 Billion in Medicaid costs

In 2015 New York will pay $80 billion dollars in Medicid costs

New Jersey budget deficit of $2.2 Billion (per medicaid)

In 2007 New Jersey spent $4.5 Billion in medicaid costs

In 2015 New Jersey will pay $32 Billion dollars in Medicaid costs

California budget deficit of $6.6 Billion (per medicaid)

In 2007 California spent $18 Billion in Medicaid costs

In 2015 California will pay $87 Billion dollars in Medicaid costs

Obama in a way, to try and win over the AMA American Medical Association) said that in 2013 and 2014 physicians will get no less than 100% coverage of Medicare costs. Past that two years, physicians are on their own, with no federal help. Because in the CBO’s prediction, it was not calculated in the cost prediction due to the largely growing population of seniors who will be hitting retirement age from the baby boomer generation. This money for the two years of 100% coverage comes from the American taxpayer.

“States faced with unprecedented declines in tax collections are cutting benefits and payments to hospitals and doctors in Medicaid, the health program for the poor paid jointly by state and U.S. governments. The costs to hire staff and plan for the average 25 percent increase in Medicaid rolls may swamp budgets,” said Toby Douglas, who manages the Medicaid program for California, which hasn’t joined the lawsuits.

“The bill disguises its true cost by shoving Medicaid expansions down to the state level and shuffling Congressional Budget Office estimates into later years so it appears to save federal tax dollars. It is an insult to those who truly care about meaningful health care reform.” – Gov Jim Gibbons of Nevada

So if we have states, who are already straddled with lower tax revenue, and higher deficits due to a recession…what choices are they going to have to make? We add thousands of people to the medicaid rolls, with no coverage or prediction of true costs over time to the states, if thats not a lie swept under the rug. Basically it was shift from the federal deficit, and something they can fully put into the states hands to have to deal with down the road as these baby boomers, and low income Americans become dependant on a totally tax-payer funded health system.

According to a survey taken by Athena Health and Sermo, 79% of Physicians and Doctors are less optimistic about the overall future in the practice of medicine in America.

The department of Health and Human Services, once again i will state this because it is VERY IMPORTANT…

HHS report on this heath care bill says, “Medicare cuts could drive 15% of Hospitals and providers into the red.”

If you want a true outlook on government run healthcare, look at Massachusetts and the insurance providers in the red and REFUSING to sell insurance. Because they cannot bare the cost. But, if i got into that we could go on for days also. But is a great tidbit on our future outlook if you want to look at it in its implemented form. Yes, there are a bnch of mirror images between Obama Care and that states Health Care Policies.

HHS (Health and Human Services is government run Agency) also included in their report, from a post by the Associated Press, “President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul law will increase the nation’s health care tab instead of bringing costs down, government economic forecasters concluded Thursday in a sobering assessment of the sweeping legislation.”

Liberals can easily tell all Americans that this is a free health insurance. But like we will be stated several times, you cannot try to add 32 million people to taxpayer funded health insurance, through subsidies, medicare, and medicaid and come out on top. Our countries other top entitlements to save the people with less money, and take from the people who have achieved are all going bankrupt. These entitlements made to have “humanity” and to save the “lower class”, as Democrats say WILL NOT BE THERE if not massively reformed and fixed. The flaws in these system are so deep they almost single handely are driving our countries financial future into the ground. We have to as young Conservatives take a concern for our kids, grandkids, and if not OUR own futures here. We have to realize, and understand that the things we research, look into, and explain to others who may not have the time or resources, are vital. Vital as in our futures, and families future. We have to take a stand against Democrats and this Liberal agenda. We have to know that if we sit back idle, and do not bring these facts forward for all to hear and all to know, they will idly blow us by. We will not thrive, our constitution was made by a group of great men. And these great men layed this framework, it is a Liberal/Democratic agenda to rebuild our nations great history, writing, and intellligent patriotic minds.

Ask yourself TWO questions…

1)How does this lower actual health care costs? Starting with supplies, equipment, our great technologies?

2)Does the money to pay for this new entitlement program going to be takin from the backs of our children? Just like the faults of Socil Security and Medicre have been place on the back of Generation Y.

Socialized Medicine

Penalties, fees, and taxes

The CBO estimates 94% of Americans will be covered by the bill.

The CBO estimates that 5% of Americans will be covered without subsidies.

Opt out penalty will be $695 dollars or 2.5 percent of income. The penalties would be capped at $2,250 per family as of 2016. If insurance would cost more than 8 percent of household income, people won’t face a penalty for going without it.

Medicare Part A (that’s hospital insurance) tax rate would be increased by 0.9 percent, to 2.35 percent. Second, the bill creates an entirely new tax of 3.8 percent on unearned income (dividends, interest, stuff like that) for people in those same income brackets.

The health care bill would impose an excise tax on insurers of employer-sponsored health plans that cost more than $10,200 annually for individual coverage, or $27,500 annually for family coverage. The tax in question would be 40 percent of the cost of the plan that exceeds those dollar thresholds

(So if my insurance plan costs me $20,200 dollars a year, the government would rake in $4,000 from my insurer.).

Who benefits?

The cutoff level would be an income of four times the federal poverty level. For one person, that’s about $44,000 a year. For a family of four, the comparable figure is about $88,000.

(I am including this in the ‘who benefits’ section, because the HHS will most definitely benefit from this bill. Like any new government program, government agencies and current employees stand to gain more power and funding. More funding usually means higher pay for those involved.)

So, if I opt out I get charged. But only if the insurance would cost me over 8% of my total annual income. Now, what happens if the GOVERNMENT offers me healthcare that costs less than 8%? Better yet, what if they can radically adjust the cost of my coverage based on my pay. What’s to stop them from ALWAYS being able to offer me 8% or less coverage? In this way, people could be heavily encouraged to pay into the system, no matter what.

The Bottom Line

We could talk for months about how much this bill will ACTUALLY cost the federal government and state governments to enact, but that’s not really the point. In fact, even if the numbers the administration gives were COMPLETELY accurate this piece of legislation would still be fundamentally wrong.

What this is really about is socialism. President Reagan, during a radio address, made an astute observation about socialism in America. To paraphrase, he stated simply that those in favor of socialism in this country would never label their agenda ‘socialist’, but would instead push it under the broader label of ‘liberalism’. In our country today, liberalism has become nearly indistinguishable from socialism.

Liberals with strong socialist tendencies fear being labelled as socialist. They fear it not because they believe socialism is evil. On the contrary, they firmly believe in is right. They fear the socialist label because they think that many Americans are ignorant and don’t understand socialism.

We are happy to cure anyone of that ignorance. Maybe Obama will thank us later.

Socialism:

1. a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.

2.procedure or practice in accordance with this theory.

3. (in Marxist theory) the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.

If you are paying attention, you should notice that this healthcare bill vests the control and means of distribution of healthcare in this country to the federal government. Since it includes the medicare provision for families at the lowest income bracket, it also expands government ownership in healthcare. This makes it BY DEFINITION a socialist bill.

Why people believe in Socialism

In the socialist(and communist) worldview, people are not created equal. One man may be born into a wealthy family. Another man is not. One man may be born with DNA that predisposes him to be a great athlete. Another is not. Socialism exists to correct these unbalanced conditions. To the socialist, the government CAN AND SHOULD intervene whenever possible to ensure that conditions are equal for everyone. The ideal socialistic society would provide everyone in it with all basic necessities. Housing, food, medical care, transportation and communication(hence, ACTA) are all fair game. To the socialist the government exists to provide all people with whatever they need. Government is the cure.

Why conservatives do not believe in Socialism

Simply put, we believe in the individual. The basis for our country is free will. This includes two equally important concepts: personal responsibility and personal freedom. These two ideas are completely inseparable and are at the very core of American conservatism. We do not believe your starting conditions dictate your entire life. We believe you can overcome adversity. We believe that you can change the world. When the government starts assuming responsibility for you, it also strips you of your power. You want to be a doctor? Sure thing, just be sure you treat who the HHS says you are supposed to treat and you will be payed with the HHS says you should be paid. That is NOT freedom. We believe that each person in this country could have health coverage if they wanted to. In fact, it would almost certainly be cheaper if individual states didn’t each impose their own regulations on the industry. The fact is, people simply aren’t willing to change companies or work those extra hours, or work and go to school, or live in a cheaper apartment, etc etc etc. These are choices the individual makes. As a conservative we fully support your right to make those choices, but we DO NOT support taking money away from others so that you can have your cake and eat it to.

What do you believe?

Do you believe that you, the individual, have power over your own destiny? Perhaps you don’t like having the burden of responsibility. Perhaps you want the federal government to take care of you. The problem is, the government can only take care of you by robbing someone else of their resources. Do you believe that people are capable of taking care of themselves or do you believe that only government intervention can take care of people? Do you believe that you control your own life or that you are completely at the whims of fate?

Make no mistake. There is little middle ground here. If you decide that socialized medicine is okay, you are saying that need trumps personal freedom. How many other ‘needs’ should the government take care of? Housing? Transportation? Food? This path leads inexorably to an increasingly communistic system. Some countries in Europe have caught themselves halfway down the slippery slope and are now paying a dear cost. Take a look at Greece. Changing course midway is far more painful than making the right decision now.

Tidbits: Value Added Tax or VAT Tax

President Brack Obama, and former President Bill Clinton have lately had talk of a VAT here in the United States. A Value Added Tax is a tax added during the manufacturing and distribution processes of a certain good or service not to be seen by the consumer on a receipt for that good or service as a tax to the naked eye. Its a tax from a manufacturer to the delivery truck driver of a certain percentage, or the orange farmer to the orange juice bottler so on and so forth through the process till it reaches your store or home. Americans still, even with this liberal machine, at the moment are enjoying some of the lower taxes around the world. Remember, this is the reason AMERICA was started in the first place. Freedom of religion, and freedom from taxation without representation (Obama said no new taxes on the middle class during his campaign).

What you have to know is that you will see this at you local wal mart, mall, or grocery store. If a bottler and a orange juice farer has to pay an extra 3 cents per orange, do you honestly not think they are not going to past that added tx and cost on to you? Do you not think that if VAT is established in the United States that instead of cutting spending, it will give the federal government more opportunity to spend YOUR money?

Tidbit: Illegal Immigration

Lets take a look first at the definition of illegal according to Websters dictionary…

Illegal:

1. forbidden by law or statute.

2. contrary to or forbidden by official rules, regulations, etc.

As we take a quick look at illegal immigration you first have to disect the debate you will encounter between a liberal and a conservative. The liberal point of view once again is “humanity” and basic human rights. They will quote and say all day, that illeal immigrants are coming to our nation to have better and more prosperous life. Democrats/Liberals will tell you as an American Citizen that illegal immigrants take the jobs that Americans DO NOT WANT. I as an American and a conservative will disagree with these whole-heartedly. First, as a conservative i believe the rights of an American zitizen were given to us by God, and written to us through our Forefathers. When the constitution of the United States was made it was enacted for the purpose of freedom, seperation of powers, and a framework for a great and free nation. Liberty is something we have held onto and fought for to keep as Americans for generations.

We have all had grandfathers, and distant relatives that have fought for the freedom we so cherish today. Not one Illegal Immigrant is in the United States Armed forces fighting for those freedoms today. If you come to this nation illegally you are breaking our laws, you are bypassing our constitution, liberties, and the freedom that our past generations have given and passed down to us. It is not human right, it is an American right to be in the United States. With unemployment forever growing with this Administration, i am sure that the more than 4.1 million people currently on unemployment for 6 months or more, would gladly take a day job rather than receiving the max unemployment benefits of around $ 500 dollarsa week. If they would rather take free money, then work to earn a living and support their family that is a lazy and unpatriotic ideal. If that is the case, it is of great detriment to our core values and morals system from the mind of a conservative thinker.

Illegal immigrants, the large majority DO NOT PAY income tax, medicare tax, or social security tax, but their kids go to our schools, they have the ability to go to the ER if ever hurt, and to use the same public parks, and public facilities that we do as everyday tax paying Americans. Democrats want to give amnesty to the, by lowest estimates now, 12 million illegal immigrants. That amnesty means since they are in this country already illegally we shall give them a pardon and give thm a quicker right or path to citizenship. NO. We have people all over the world that want to come to the United States based of our prosperity, and the American Dream. They wait in line, pay thousands of dollars, learn English, and go about it the legal and true way. Otherwise our country would be absolutely flooded with people wanting a “better life”. Don’t let them fool you, they want the vote. Plain and simple. You have had Eric Holder(Attorney General) and Janet Napolitano(Secretary of Homeland security) OPENLY criticized this Arizona Law(When they both have said “I haven’t read it”), saying it is unconstitutional, when all it does is enforce, and give their local law enforcement the ability to enact federal law based solely on the federal government NOT ENFORCING OUR OWN LAWS. Here is the Federal Law…now know, the United States lets more than 1 million people become legal permenant residents every year, more than any other country in the world…

Federal Immigration and Nationality Act

Section 8 USC

“Improper Entry by Alien,” any citizen of any country other than the United States who:

* Enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers; or

* Eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers; or

* Attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact;

has committed a federal crime.

Illegal entry after excluded, deported, or removed: Subsection 1326(a) now makes it an offense for any alien who has been denied admission, excluded, deported, or removed, or has departed the United States while an order of exclusion, deportation or removal is outstanding and thereafter enters, attempts to enter, or is at any time found in the United States, unless such alien received prior written consent from the Attorney General.

The basic statutory maximum penalty for reentry after deportation is a fine under title 18, imprisonment for not more than 2 years, or both. However, with regard to an alien whose “removal” was subsequent to a conviction for commission of three or more misdemeanors involving drugs, crimes against the person, or both, or a felony (other than an aggravated felony), the statutory maximum term of imprisonment is 10 years. Moreover, if deportation was subsequent to conviction for an aggravated felony, the statutory maximum term of imprisonment is 20 years.

Arizona Law Language

HB 2162 bars race from being considered when deciding whether to inquire about a person’s status, “except to the extent permitted by the United States or Arizona Constitution.”

The bill also clarifies that law-enforcement officers shall inquire about the immigration status only of those they “stop, detain or arrest.”

It is not racial profiling, it is not bias, it is not wrong. It is enforcing, arresting, and turning over illegal immigrants to the federal authorities. The actual whole Arizona can be read by typing in Arizona 1070b in google.com

You as an American have to make your own decision about illegal immigrants. Mine is clearly stated in two ways. First that legal immigrants go through the proper avenues to become US Citizens or legal aliens. They go through our stringent processes and should not be bypassed by people who break our laws to get into the country illegally. And my second, that illegal immigrants not only do nt pay taxes or give the benefit to society as a tax paying American, but with unemployment at 9.9% i would like to give Americans the choice to have their jobs. Arizona has over 400,000 illegals in their state alone, they are by far the kidnapping capitol of the US, and alone last year they had over 1,000 drug arrests of illegal immigrants that couldn’t be prosecuted due to the massive backlog in their court system from prosecuting these ILLEGALS. Let me say this, over 70% of Arizona residents favor this proposal, it is a massive problem with the open borders Barack Obama seems to want to keep. So the governor and legislature of that State took it upon themselves to make sure Federal Law is enforced for the protection of their legal residents.
