My senators are Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell. If anything, Murray is more condescending than Inslee, and Cantwell never responds.

I don't know if it's from the DNC or if this comes standard with the House of Rep's email system. My congressman sends me replies that are worded almost the same as your rep. I thought it was just my guy, but now that I have seen your reply I think it's a system thing. It always makes me wonder why I am contacting my reps when they reply that they are for what we are telling them that we are against. You would think they could acknowledge our differences and enlighten us on why we are wrong and actually answer specific questions or speak to what was in our original communication. But then they would have to care wouldn't they?

The senate doesn't seem to use the same canned replies. I live in PA and have Casey and Spector as my senators. Not that I agree with Casey very often but his replies at least try to explain to me why he is on the other side. I believe that at least he is honest, which is saying something when you compare the rest of the democrates in Washington. Not that I would vote for him based on that, he is still left of where I want to see my representation, but I do admire that he is brave enough to tell me what he thinks.
