Okay, so between the late breaking coal scandal and McCain’s momentum, this could pan out. On Rasmussenreports.com, the most reliable pollster for my money, McCain has a lock on 160 electoral votes, while Obama is locked on 260. Now, 21 of those 260 were PA, which dipped down to a 3-4 point lead this week, came up to 6, and has not been polled since the coal scandal broke. Lets not assume, therefore, Obama gets PA.

If we assume McCain wins each state he is winning or within 1 on, (very reasonable assumption), then its McCain 247,Obama 239.

That leaves several paths to victory if McCain wins:

PA and NV
PA and VA
PA and NH
PA and CO
VA and CO
VA and NV and NH
Surprise from MN or IA adds more possible combinations

Can we pull this off? Yes we can.

Looks good here in PA. One point is that Va and Co plus 247 would only be 269.

If McCain manages to receive one Maine elector, as they split their votes there, it would deliver a 270-268 victory. Palin visited the state, I think, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility.

until I made the BIG mistake of checking out Rove.com to see what HIS math was for this election. His electoral map isn’t too pretty.(hint-don’t look until after tomorrow)

After my shock I reminded myself of how wrong Karl Rove was on the 2006 mid terms. I bet he is just as wrong this time.

go to bed, and go vote tomorrow. Didn’t you hear, Obama only won the Nick.com vote 51-49. John Kerry won in 04 by 9 points, so we don’t need no stinking Redskins victory!

I remember McGovern … and Obama is far to the left of him. And McGovern carried ONE (1) state

So, another way of looking at is Obama could do a lot better than McGovern and still get creamed.
