Thanks for becoming truly part of the Republican Party. I’ve been ‘in’ for almost 3 years now and being one of ‘them’ has been the most impactful thing I’ve ever done to influence the direction of my Party, and thus my country.

Get on committees to run parades, breakfast meetings, fund raisers, help candidates, etc.

In other words, become the “go to” guy or gal and get others to help you. You’ll be running the party before you know it.

Also, in terms of seeking advice and information about “how it works” in Georgia, you may want to consider calling in to Erick Erickson’s radio program later today. Erick is moving into Herman Cain’s old time slot and will have on as a guest none other Mr. Cain, whom you undoubtedly know has formed an exploratory committee for running for president, an endeavor he is, in his words, “prayerfully considering” carrying out.

I hope it encourages others from GA reading this to follow your lead.

IF GA is like many other states, the PC (Precinct Committeemen) are going to discover that they have far more power than they anticipated. In other states, the PCs either select, or furnish the list from which vacancies like prosecutor, sheriff and judges (along with lawmakers) are filled.

Wanna be a voting delegate at the national nominating convention? If you’re not a PC, you probably won’t be considered.

On our national conference calls, we have learned that there is a definite vacuum at the state level – good workers at the precinct and county level are quickly drafted upward to serve at the state level and choose your state chair and RNC committeecritters.

So together you are doing God’s work.
