Worry for the children – disturbing indoctrination by Obama campaign

Yes. The following video was the brain child of an Obama fund-raiser, Kathy Sawada, and music teacher at an elite private school. In two weeks time the song was put together, rehearsed and then filmed with a professional crew including: Jeff Zucker, Holly Schiffer, Peter Rosenfeld, Darin Moran, Jean Martin, Andy Blumenthal, and Nick Phoenix. This is truly disturbing and recalls images of Mao-ist, Hitler youth, child-exploitation. This is truly sickening:

Contrast the video with:

The relevance in the way both parties approach churches and religion.

I have found it interesting in how most pundits and partisans following this election have focused very little on the religious affiliation of both McCain and Biden. Instead, the majority of the focus has been on Obama and Palin and the churches they have attended.

The focus on Obama’s church has zoomed in on the political statements of Obama’s pastor. There have been allegations that his pastor has spoken, in his church, on topics such as hatred for the United States, as well as made divisive and some would say racist comments. People have wondered if Obama shares some of these political beliefs that have been espoused in his church.

In contrast, the focus on Palin and her church has focused much more on her personal religious beliefs, rather than any political statements espoused by her church, prior church, or pastors (past or present). People have made much of her belief in creation, church membes speaking in tongues or other “gifts of the spirit”.

The contrast here should be evident to anyone who is not an extreme partisan. Those more associated with Republicans have questioned political statements made in Obama’s church. Those more associated with Democrats have questioned personal religious beliefs of those in Palins (past and present churches).

Have Republicans questioned the religious beliefs of Obama’s church? Has anyone tried to paint patrons as “religious nut-jobs” for a religious belief? It is a Christian Church and as such should believe what is written in the bible. Does Obama’s church not believe in creation? Does it not believe, as Christians by very definition, that Jesus was the Christ (the Messiah), that he lived, died and rose again? Does Obama’s church not partake in communion – the eating of bread and drinking of wine – which is symbolic of Christ’s flesh and blood? Does Obama’s church not believe in the miracles that are attributed to Christ and the Apostles? Those of a more Republican persuasion are not asking these questions. They are personal, religious beliefs; every religion whether it be Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Bhuddist, etc. has unique religious beliefs that may seem strange or odd to those who do not prescribe to those beliefs. The thing is, is that there are followers of these various religions that are in governments and are heads of state in democracies around the world and none of these representatives of the people, in democratic countries, have turned their countries into states that have abolished all religions save one, none have forced conversion to the one religion, none have placed the government and legal system second to the leaders of such a one religion.

Those on the extreme Left that have made such assertions about Republicans are guilty of the highest order of hypocrisy and hyperbole. In fact, the accusations and the attempt to muzzle or silence those with religions beliefs is in fact damaging to a democratic system of government, established upon tennants of free speech and freedom of ideals and freedom of religion.

Media outlets – Did McCain win in their eyes?

Anyone finding polls saying McCain won – other than the 82% win on Fox News’ informal text-message poll? It is early, but I would love to see how many polls favor McCain’s experience over Obama’s posturing and theory.

I Did Not Know That 19 Months of Campaigning Prepared One for the Presidency

or How to Spot an Obama Apologist

Someone needs to look this up and find out if it is one of the Democratic talking points. Talking head after talking head be it Andrea Mitchel, Chris Matthews, you name it there have been countless references on MSNBC, CBS, ABC, etc., as well as representatives from the Obama campaign – whenever someone brings up the issue of B. Obama’s lack of experience, they tell you that “he’s been running a campaign for president for 19 months” and “that he’s been fielding questions in the media the whole time” as if stumping the campaign trail and getting chummy with reporters somehow prepares one for the Oval Office.

I will grant, Obama can read a teleprompter and evoke an emphatic response from crowds. However, I thought one of Sarah Palin’s best lines in her speech this evening was when she stated how Obama has found the time to write 2 different memoirs and yet somehow has not found the time to write/sponsor a single major piece of legislation.

Joe Scarborough: The Sellout

Following Liberal Marching Orders

Joe Scarborough: The Sellout

Once upon a time, Joe Scarborough was a Republican serving in the House of Representatives for six years (1995-2001). He knows what it is like to be accused of something unjustly. When he had an aide that died in his Florida office in 2001 while he was in Washington D.C., there were attacks levied at him by many people, including Michael Moore, accusing him of everything from wrong-doing to actual allegations of murder; even though he was more than a thousand miles away. Scarborough knows what it is like to have baseless charges levied against him.

This makes it all the more disgusting when Scarborough joined in on the Left’s talking-points this morning on his MSNBC show, Morning Joe. Scarborough defended the Left’s attacks on Sarah Palin’s personal and family life by repeating the liberal mantra that said attacks aren’t really being levied at Palin’s pregnant daughter or her Down syndrome baby; instead these horrible attacks are purportedly about the vetting process. Scarborough sidestepped these baseless, guttersnipe attacks (attacks not all that dissimilar to the ones he faced in 2001) and instead reiterated the Left’s talking points.

Let us all be clear: the attacks on innocent minors, innocent children is horrendous. Of course, we all know how dearly the Left values the lives of innocent children when we view their rabid defense of an abortion policy that has legalized the murder of more than 50 million unborn human children. To claim that the attack on these children, as well as the sexist tone of the attacks on Sarah Palin is somehow really about McCain’s vetting process is a too-late, bait-and-switch tactic and a lame attempt to cover up their own guttersnipe attacks. Scarborough joined in and has attempted to legitimize this fallacious cover-up by the Left. This is very disappointing, especially when Palin has a stance on issues not all the dissimilar from Scarborough’s own values while he was in office; back when he was a Republican and not a Leftist talk-points-tool on MSNBC.
