A few suggestions for Speaker Boehner

Here are some ideas that I came up with to email to Speaker Boehner. If you like them, just add your own ideas also and send your copy to him too.

Suggestions for laws:

1) It seems to me that a good part of the overall problem of government is the regulations promulgated by out of control “Alphabet Soup”regulatory agencies under the  direction of the executive branch. Under the current system we basically have the President with two methods of making laws (executive orders and regulations via the “Alphabet Soup agencies), the judiciary making laws (activist judges), and the Congress making laws (they are the only ones supposed to make them). While many people feel that most of the regulatory agencies should be abolished as unconstitutional, that is not a reasonable expectation at this time. To return to a more Constitutional system, I propose that all of the regulatory agencies be defanged and turned into research and advisory boards for the respective Congressional committees and sub-committees with only the ability to suggest, not to rule. Require them to report to the Congressional committees and not the President. This could be done in the House of Representatives alone simply by only authorizing funds to be spent on new research, and prohibiting any funds to be spent on any unapproved enforcement. Any actual laws would have to be enacted by Congress; The President and other leftist groups would be deprived of an extra-Constitutional method of promoting their agenda. I assume that this would also reduce the potential scope of any executive orders in that the President would no longer exert control in these areas, especially if the number of cabinet positions were reduced also to reflect that these agencies were no longer under executive control. Maybe some of the staff members that would no longer be needed in the new leaner, more efficient agencies could be retrained to be auditors and turned loose to inventory all the assets of the federal government to see of what we could eliminate or sell . Also they could have more complete audits of each agency to ferret out waste and corruption.

2) Until suggestion # 1 is done, pass a regulation requiring government agencies to fast track (within 60 days) approval of 500 (pick a number) drilling and/or mining permits. Plus permits for 5 to 10 new refineries, plus pipelines and anything else that would signal to the world that we are serious about becoming energy independent. As soon as it becomes apparent that we are
serious about energy independence, oil prices will fall precipitously. As the price of gasoline continues to climb it is only a matter of time before “the masses” revolt against the environmentalists (whom they far out number). It would be better for you to be seen leading the way instead of just reacting to pressure. Also, to prevent these new permits from being stalled by
environmentalist in the courts, simply remove them from court purview due to national security concerns. Just the gain in revenue from the increased economic activity from oil production alone would put the U.S economy booming again, let alone the additional benefits of the corresponding decrease in our international balance of payments deficit.

3) Since Congress controls the Judiciary as far as their operation is concerned- Restrict all district and appellate courts from declaring any state constitutional
amendments or any other laws unconstitutional. Allow them to recommend only. And since the Supreme Court usurped the power to declare laws unconstitutional in the first place, either eliminate that power or allow it to be over ruled by a 60% vote of both houses similar to a presidential veto. This would restore the balance of power back to the people.

4) Replace the U.N. with the U.R. (United Republics). It will be an extra incentive for the autocracies to become democracies. Since the U.N. is a majority dictatorial/fascist states, the impetus is toward a fascist one world power with the U.N. as the leader. A world body of democracies/republics would tend to the other direction of less government and more states rights, just like the U.S. is supposed to be.

5) Do not raise the debt limit; just start cutting expenses, eliminating or reducing extra-Constitutional agencies, waste and redundancies and adjust paying debts as they come due; There is no need to borrow anymore money. All it takes is 218 Republican Representatives to do the right thing and refuse to raise the debt ceiling and it doesn’t get raised. In spite of your “1/2 of 1/3 of the government” statement, the Republicans have total control over this action. Since polls show that a large majority of the American people ,including a majority of Democrats also,do not want the debt ceiling raised, for you to act otherwise shows where your real interest lies-continuing to grow government and your power base. Any Republican who votes for raising the debt ceiling is simply asking to be primaried out of a job.

6)Social Security- remove S.S.I (basically a welfare program anyway),it has nothing to do with the original purpose of Social Security and just siphons off more funds that could be keeping it solvent. Privatize it and allow it to be inherited and added onto our children’s Social Security.
7) Audit the Federal Reserve going back as far as possible. Not for any political reasons, just that no one is perfect; everyone makes mistakes and that rule of
thumb has never been suspended for the Federal Reserve. Also, given the amount of fraud and corruption there is in agencies that are audited, I can’t imagine how much there is in an agency that has never had to fear an audit.

“You don’t have the right to shove your views down my throat!”

How many times have you heard that one? In a younger, more naive time in my life, it used to stump me until I realized that if I even accepted the statement as true then I was allowing them to shove their views down my throat. It is an oxymoron as much as “There is no such thing as absolute truth”. Most of the time my liberal acquaintances would use it as a statement to end any debate about societal values of the United States and their origins in Christan morality. It is important not to be cowed by that statement- “You don’t have the right to shove your views down my throat”, because at any given time only one viewpoint or morality can be ascendant or “the Law” and if it is not Christian, it will be secularism or paganism or something else.
While the facts of the Christian heritage of these United States of America has been systematically withheld by the liberal educational establishment from several current generations, the facts remain unchanged that from the “IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN” of the Mayflower Compact to the “we are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights” in the Declaration of Independence, this nation was founded, nurtured and blessed by God,Himself! Our current president brazenly states that we are not a Christian nation; but, saying so doesn’t make it so; The 1 Million or so Muslims in the United States that he seems to favor in so many ways are a long way from any kind of a majority. He maligns and feels constrained by the Constitution he has sworn to protect and defend. The same Constitution that as John Adams states “This Constitution was written for a Christian people, it is wholly unsuitable for any other.”
One common statement from liberal and progressives is that Christians should stay out of politics and keep their religion behind the closed doors of their churches. If the Christians at the time of the War for Independence had followed that, then we wouldn’t be discussing this today for there would be no United States. All Christians and all Americans need to read the true heritage of the founding of our great nation. This nation was founded by Christians of many denominations, for Christians; Our form of government is based in large part on the Congregational Church in New England and the Bible. The American Revolution was called “The Presbyterian Rebellion” in England at the time and it was fought not for independence at first, but to maintain the right to worship God as they pleased, a right the colonist had had for 150 years. For an excellent history, read Christian life and character of the civil institutions of the United States, developed in the official and historical annals of the republic (1864) by B.F. Morris. Thanks, in large part, to evangelical and catholic Christians voting with their pocket book instead of their principles and creed, we have elected pro abortion presidents for three of the last five terms, including the current one who promotes infanticide. Please, we, who are called by His Name need to get on our faces, humble ourselves, turn from our wicked ways (being lukewarm amongst many others) and seek His face again; Hopefully He will save us from the coming financial and moral ruin that faces our nation, that we, in our folly have brought on ourselves. I firmly believe that God, Himself, placed Obama as our president as a warning and a hint as to what could happen in the future.
The current generation of Christians need to become as active in politics as the founding fathers were, otherwise we will be known as the generation that “dropped the ball” and ended the dream that the Founding Fathers started. President Obama will be somewhat right-we will be a “has been” Christian nation and the tatters of our once bold Constitution will no longer protect those Christians who let it down.
A good game plan as I see it -
1) Download for reference-Christian life and character of the civil institutions of the United States, developed in the official and historical annals of the republic (1864) by B.F. Morris. It can be downloaded at

http://www.archive.org/details/christianlifecha00morr

2) Download and read “In His Steps” by Charles Sheldon. http://www.archive.org/details/inhisstepswhatwo00shel
3) Discuss with your pastor the need for the church to stop being cowed by the IRS and get back into saving the country. Just as the church in Revolutionary times and Civil War times, pastors need to
a) Exhort conservative Christians to run for office; this includes anything like school board, library ,any organization that has been co-opted by liberals.
b)Explain to their church members, Coldwarrior’s Precinct Project for conservatives to take
over the Republican Party.
c) Explain to their church members the Concord Project
d) Give copies of the two books listed here to everyone in their church (they are public domain)

The main thing is to do everything possible to use the pastor’s “bully pulpit” to advertise, teach, and spread the word about the up coming and ongoing war to save our country from the “Principalities and Powers” starting with the 2012 election and beyond.
