Why is Texas creating more jobs than any other state? Because it has less government says NR’s Kevin Williamson. Texas should be the model for Washington he says, including…….a part time legislature that makes $7K a year. Polish your resume Barney Frank.

It’s amazing that Gambutus(sp?) has been the best promotion of Shiner brewery.

BTW, Lone star really sucks since it left it’s home on South St. Mary’s St in San Antonio. Long live Pearl brewery.

The old Pearl brewery is no more. It’s something else now. I really like the building and the old Lone Star brewery building was in a nice location.

About 20 years ago, the DOT got the really bright idea to change the logo on our license plates from “The Lone Star State” to “The Friendly State”.

There were public executions on the DOT lawn, and the proper logo was restored.
