Here's Your Laugh for the Day: Biden's New Ad About How 'Sharp' He Is

You know that Joe Biden is struggling when you see all the steps they have to take to promote him.

I wrote earlier about how he (or the person running his account on X) posted a video of various Kennedy family members endorsing him. That just made it clear how scared and worried Biden has to be about Robert F. Kennedy Jr taking Democratic votes away from him.

But they also put out another ad for Biden that's getting a lot of mocking and it's easy to see why.

They have a steelworker try to tell us how he "knows hard work when he sees it," that when he met Joe Biden he was "as sharp as a knife" Maybe a butter knife. But not anything that can cut through things and get anything done. And as for "hard work," does the steelworker know how many vacation days Biden has taken and what his schedule generally looks like?  It's a horrible ad when it ends up making you laugh at their candidate even more.

Our friends over at Twitchy posted about the fun they had at Fox with the ad as well as Biden's inability to close a box and confusion over ordering a milkshake at a Wawa.

They compared the difference between that and the energy of former President Donald Trump visiting a bodega in NYC. Trump is the animating force, while Biden is being scripted and led around, but he's still completely confused. They also laughed at the ridiculous story suggesting his uncle was eaten by cannibals.

As Clay Travis told Fox's Martha MacCallum, "If you have to run political ads saying your candidate is as sharp as a knife, he's not sharp as a knife, Martha."

He said if he were running the Biden campaign, "I'd be trying to hide him." He thought that this inability was ultimately going to be the issue that "decides this election."

I think that's right, although the problem for Biden is his policies are bad too. And when the Special Counsel isn't prosecuting you because you're an old man with a "poor memory," it doesn't help your campaign effort.
