Anti-Israel Activists Come Out in Times Square to Chant Against US, for Yemen

It's more than a little disconcerting to see people coming out in Times Square to chant in support of Houthi terrorists who have fired on U.S. forces and assets.

But that happened last night in Times Square, as leftist groups like the Party for Socialism and Liberation called for an "emergency protest" after the U.S. and the U.K. took action against the Houthis with airstrikes on Thursday night. There was an official statement issued with Joe Biden's name on it, and then he called a lid taking no more questions on the matter.

The activists the same folks coming out of the other protests, recycled their "Free Palestine" signs but this time added a big banner that read "Stop the U.S. Bombing in Yemen." They had about 200 people out protesting within a couple of hours of the start of the strikes.

The crowd chanted everything from "U.S., U.K, go to hell!" to "It is right to rebel," to "From Yemen to Palestine, imperialism is a crime," and even "Yemen, Yemen, you will rise."

They also shouted "We want justice you say how, stop bombing Yemen now," and "From the belly of the beast, hands off the Middle East."

That's us, they're referring to as the "beast," by the way. They had Palestinian flags and demanded that the U.S. stop all aid to Israel. They also chanted they stood by the side of Yemen. They're chanting for people who are firing on us and our allies.

Many commented on how they were able to get out so quickly given the airstrikes just happened but it's something they've been doing for years for all kinds of leftist protests. They knew a response was likely coming because the U.S. and U.K. said it would be, so they had time to print the banner.

The Houthis claim their attacks on shipping in the Red Sea are in support of Hamas. The U.S. response came after the Houthis disregarded warnings and did their largest attack yet that endangered American personnel and partners.

They marched from Times Square to Columbus Circle. The activists didn't seem to care that it was the Houthis who were firing on U.S. assets, that it wasn't the U.S. who started this. They apparently think we should just lie down for being fired on. But of course, they're leftists they cheer against the U.S.

The only person arrested appeared to be a pro-Israel person.

They also immediately had people out in front of the White House as well after the airstrikes, as you can see here on X.

The Biden Administration had originally removed the terrorist designation on the Houthis, but as is always the case with Joe Biden, he was proven wrong once again. That appeasement only appears to have encouraged them to act up, especially with Iran's backing. Now, once again, Biden is having to play catch-up to deal with his own bad decisions.
