CNN Reports Things Looking Not so Good for Biden in Pennsylvania, the People Speak Out

Joe Biden made a terrible blunder during the final debate, admitting that he wanted to do away with the oil industry. President Donald Trump immediately highlighted Biden’s remarks and played prior remarks Biden made about doing away with fracking and the oil industry to further enforce the point that Biden is a danger not just to energy states but the whole nation who relies on the oil industry.

From Townhall:

“I want to begin today by discussing an issue of existential importance to Pennsylvania. Very, very important. Last week Sleepy Joe Biden made perhaps the most shocking statement ever uttered in the history of presidential debates. In other words, he blew it,” Trump said. “Joe Biden confirmed his plan to abolish the entire U.S. oil industry. That means no fracking, no jobs, no energy for Pennsylvania families, Texas, all the others.”

He continued: “The Biden energy shutdown would inflict deep pain and misery on Pennsylvania. Mass layoffs, constant black outs and brown outs, soaring gas prices. It’s nice to have that $2 gasoline isn’t it? Surging energy bills, no air conditioning during the summer, no heat during the winter and no electricity during peak hours.”

So how are people taking it in places like Pennsylvania where energy is such a critical part of the state’s economy?

While polls have Biden up in Pennsylvania, surprisingly, it was CNN who pointed out how things were not looking good in Pennsylvania for Biden in the wake of his comments, at least in terms of the voters with whom they spoke.

CNN’s Vanessa Yurkeyvich spoke to people in a Pennsylvania town dependent on fracking.

Emanuel Paris, a senior project manager at a contracting company, told her that Trump had a “clear perspective on keeping fracking going with minimal regulations” whereas Joe Biden had “gone back and forth on what he wants to do.”

Yurkeyvich also spoke to Sharlo Tkalcevic, the owner of a bar and grill in the area. Tkolcevic said first they had to face the pandemic, and now the threat to their major industry. “It’s almost like a domino effect and it could just be disastrous in my eyes,” she worried.

Yurkeyvich said those comments were pretty much reflective of the majority of the folks with whom she spoke, that they would be voting for President Donald Trump because he was clearer on fracking, it was good for their economy and jobs.

So it’s sounding like the comments are having a significant impact in those important areas in Pennsylvania and it’s not hard to see they will have elsewhere in places such as Texas as well.
