It’s hypocritical. He goes on a rant to criticize those he considers to be racist but then ignores the fact that Obama’s own people have been doling out that racist crap for over a year now and feed off of it.
Obama does not care about racism. He loves the perception of racism because it is a tool he can use to smear his critics.

For Johnson to get all high and mighty about snarky commentary is ridiculous.
He shreds people all the time but somehow his reasons are more pure.

A friend of Israel, credited with doing the hard work in exposing the Dan Rather document fraud, exposer of photoshopped news pictures, a founder of Pajamas Media, and obviously concerned about race problems. There is much to admire about his work.

Maybe his center-left roots have started to cloud his reason. That can happen to someone who is passionate about anything. An ironic or sarcastic remark can be taken as serious, and seriously misunderstood.

Or, space aliens could have kidnapped him and replaced his brain with one made of anti-matter. Take your pick.

Somehow I don’t think this is gonna fly.

When the head of the RNC has to back down on his criticism of Rush Limbaugh and actually apologize to him, it’s absolutely clear that Limbaugh has a tremendous influence on the GOP.

That seems pretty clear that he considers the racist Limbaugh to be running the GOP and that Steele is just a figure head with no real power.
He is saying some very provocative things over there and he ain’t joking.
I have seen from time to time that some here link to other political sites and criticize or analyze statements ,opinions or comments.
NYT’s, The Washington Post,Andrew Sullivan and the such are some examples.
That was my intent.

However…I can take a hint.

Oh and I didn’t mean you were flaming….I just know from what I have read over the last couple of weeks that this is Charles Johnson’s flame war and he has a tendency to send out his minions to fight for him….we definitely don’t need that here.

Moe Lane the guy who’s been blogging since 2002 or 2003 thinks that this is… not really worth my time, or yours (generic), or RedState’s.

I do not consider this to be a flame war and I have not insulted him on this diary.
Charles Johnson is a well known internet icon and he is deliberately picking a fight with the King of talk radio,Rush Limbaugh.
He is most definitely and quite clearly calling him a racist and to prove it he is linking to far left sites that people on the right often laugh at for their silliness and outright deception.
When he calls Limbaugh a racist he is in effect calling his listeners racists as well as they tune in to hear his opinions. Many of which they agree.
That is news and I do not think it is inappropiate to talk about it.

His attacks on other right-wing sites and the purge of his own members who dare to disagree with him is certainly a topic to be considered political in nature.

I will have you know that LGF was probably one of the first sites I joined a few years ago. I was as loyal as anyone but anyone who knows that place would certainly have to admit that it is not the same .
To be quite honest if he changed the name of his site you would not be able to recognize it.
