Getting through TSA-run airport security is bad enough, but this new change by the Trump administration is sure to make lines and waits longer for millions of Americans!

Under current policy when going through TSA airport security, most electronics do not have to be taken out of any bags and placed in separate bins, or stored in special bags for screening. We leave our iPads in bags and move on with our lives.

But the Trump administration’s TSA is changing that, requiring many more items to be pulled out for separate screening. This is going to greatly increase the waits in our nation’s airports, as law-abiding Americans will have to unpack all these things, grab extra bins for them all, and run them all down the security screening belt.

This new added bit of security theater is going to cause countless hours of delays, cost us countless dollars in expenses, and it’s unlikely even to catch any terrorists. But they sure get to feel good about themselves making change for the sake of change. After all, that ban on Islamic countries bringing tablets on planes didn’t even last!
