		<title>Shocking Unemployment Analysis</title>
		<description><![CDATA[<p>Shocking! If you take an average of unemployment rates in the 10 lowest rated states controlled by Democrats and compare it to the 10 lowest rated states controlled by the GOP, you find that Republican states did far better than Democrat ones.</p>

<p>What&#8217;s more, if you check out the graph of unemployment since January 1999 (brought to you by the Bureau of Labor statistics), you can&#8217;t miss the sharp rise in unemployment since January 2007.  This date corresponds with the date when Democrats first took control of the Congress.  You&#8217;ll remember in the first 100 hours, Dems promised to raise the minimum wage and &#8220;more equitable&#8221; tax rates.  </p>

<p>I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s lost on anyone that the unemployment rate hit a 20-year high this week &#8211; 9.4%.  Since all the facts point to flawed policy, I hope Democrats will take some constructive advice from this Republican: cut taxes now please.</p>
