On Friday morning, the panel on “Fox & Friends” had a field day with the government video showing the “Mother Of All Bombs” (MOAB) being dropped on ISIS in Afghanistan.
The show played Toby Keith’s “Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue,” while viewers watched the Pentagon’s footage of the 11-ton bomb exploding.
Keith’s song was also used for military action after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and famously contains the line “We’ll put a boot in your a**, it’s the American way.”
Fox host: Dropping MOAB is "what freedom looks like, that's the red, white, and blue."

Uncle Sam put your name at the top of his list
And the Statue of Liberty started shaking her fist
And an eagle will fly and there’s gonna be hell
When you hear Mother Freedom start ringing her bell
And it’ll feel like the whole wide world is raining down on you
Brought to you, courtesy of the red, white, and blue
In the video, co-host Ainsley Earhardt made reference to the song’s lyrics, adding that even though the video is in black and white, “that’s what freedom looks like, that’s the red, white and blue.”
Surprisingly enough, even Fox News commentator Geraldo Rivera — a known Democrat — also displayed his joy at being able to see the video of the bombing.
“One of my favorite things in the 16 years I’ve been here at Fox News is watching bombs drop on bad guys,” he said.
The MOAB is heralded as the largest non-nuclear bomb in the United States arsenal.
Afghanistan reports that Thursday’s bombing killed 36 suspected ISIS militants.
