Dear Senator McCain,

Do you have a strategy for stopping Pres. Obama’s and the Democrat Party’s rush to socialism? If so, what is it?

I see nothing coming out your office, your mouth, or the mouths of Michael Steele, Sen. McConnell or Sen. Kyl, the ostensible “leaders,” like you, of our Party, calling out Barack Obama on his lies. (I’m a lowly Republican Party precinct committeeman.)

Do you need a template? Watch a few of European Parliament Member Daniel Hannan’s videos, especially the one posted today on DrudgeReport.com in which he excoriated British Prime Minister Brown’s policies. And today European Union President Mirek Topolanek, the Czech Prime Minister, called Obama’s plans to have the U.S. spend its way out of recession as “a road to hell.” Why can’t you, Steele, McConnell and Kyl DO THIS and LEAD the opposition? Obama speaks in Orwellian double-speak. He lies. Call him a liar when he lies. He said no earmarks. He lied. He said all bills would be subject to at least five days of review. He lied. He calls taxes “investments.” He refers to budget cuts that do not exist. He calls welfare payments tax cuts. What is so hard about this? In the past you championed “straight talk.” Can you give the American people some straight talk now in this time of crisis when it is so desperately needed?

Will you meet with me? I will fly to Washington to meet with you if you will listen to some new ideas. The strategies I will share with you will not only be effective for stopping Obama NOW but also help to achieve Republican victories at the polls in 2010 and 2012.

Are you going to speak at the Tea Party protest in Phoenix on April 15? If not, why not? The American people are rising up to fight this march into socialism – can’t you help lead the fight? And help direct them into the Party as new precinct committeemen and committed volunteers. Most don’t know they are needed in the Party or even where to start regarding joining the Party. Can you help in that effort?

Read the Constitution! Use it as your playbook to stop the Democrats’ rush to destroy our constitutional republic. This country needs you, Steele, McConnell and Kyl to stand together every day in front of microphones and call out Obama on his unconstitutional proposals.

I cut people across the pond, yes, even the British conservative media (British and American conservatives have the most in common I’d say), I watch BBC World News fairly regularly and they basically follow the American media on their news: You know the whole Obama’s brilliant, Palin’s a dolt, McCain’s a nutcase, and Joe Biden is common (in a good way, unlike Sarah Palin.) kind of thing.

Still, supporting Obama is a big, big, BIG fat mistake, I buy Mr. Hannan is a conservative but he shouldn’t (and I don’t think he will) support Obama in 2012.
