Romney will be attacked because of Bain Capital. As Rush Limbaugh said it will become the new Haliburton. Is what Romeny did at Bain wrong? No, it is the job of a CEO who has been delegated the job of reorganizing a company to cut expenses. The first cut is always in payroll. The real problem is that in this election the media has created the playbook. (That’s what happens when the party has no leadership.) The playbook says “yes, it’s the economy stupid,” but the media spins this into “no job creation” and a “wealth favoritism system.” The Democrats and their media propaganda wing have created this playbook through the ridiculous efforts of the “Occupy” and have used that fraud to establish the injustice of the economic system. By doing so they have completely hijacked the debate.

As a result the election will not be about the economy it will be about the fairness of the system. Romney doesn’t know how to change the playbook and make this a referendum on the economy. What frustrates me is that Obama’s record is so horrendous that any clear spoken candidate should be able to change the discussion into one that explains that the United States now owes more than it makes, that unemployment insurance does not help people get back to work, that the housing market is part of the free market and banks should not be relieved of their duty to scrutinize prospective homeowners, and it is not the government’s job to bail out bank executives who just made a killing in the market and then lost their shirts when the trades they had been touting turned out to be naked, risky losses. A clear speaking leader could point out these and more of the horrible policies that Bush put in place and Obama exponentially implemented. Instead we have this false pretense that the economic woes are based on a social injustice.

There is injustice. The injustice is not economically based by lies in our court system that is now hearing a case that will decide if the EPA can, out of the blue, declare someone’s home a wetland site and take it through fines levied against the Department’s dictates. The injustice lies in a system that takes from the property owner without just compensation. Once more the injustice lies with a government that does not serve the people through the consittution but through the concept of altruism as if our Constitution were nothing more than a philosophy book.

We are in grave times. This noble experiment, this great America is crumbling under the weight of a progressive attack and all we can do is fall in lock step with the party officials who live under this fantasy that they know best.

Stand up! Dump the losers overboard just as those brave patriots did over 200 years ago. The dream has not been broken it has merely been hijacked. There is a conservative alternative. It is not Perry. It is not Ron Paul. It is not Romney. Demand more. The stakes are just too great.

Who are these people that apparently are getting paid by the Republican party? It only goes to show that the tea party work is not finished. I thought that the Republican Party got the message last election to stand for conservative principals, understanding that we cannot work with these out of control socialist-democrats, and that the only solution is there ouster. Well, after reading this we must not forget that we need to clean the Republican house too and reading stuff like this just boils my blood to make it happen. Dump our non leaders… Put Michelle Bachman in charge of the house. Take over the Senate with REAL conservatives, there are plenty of people to fire, starting with clearing McConnell out with the Snowe in Maine. I can’t take it; I think my head will explode!

We allow the media and the Obama thugs to define our candidates and the truth is that anyone of them, INCLUDING RON PAUL, would save this country from the disaster that IS Obama. The best you can say about our President is he is a likeable disaster. I disagree with that, I think he is a lying socialist traitor who would sell every American out to make sure his political buddies profit. I am tired of being nice about this loser.

MF Global

MF Global has gone into bankruptcy because of the criminal acts of John Corzine. As a result the entire options industry is in turmoil and could fall apart. This is not a too big to fail scenario, this is just another example of croney capitalism. Croney capitalism doesn’t just take place when the govenment lends money to business at low rates that will never be paid back, it also occurs when those who are influential within the political elite get favorable treatment.

Corzine ran Goldman Saks into near financial ruin and was rewarded for it when the govenment bailed them out. After helping to promote terrible deriviative products that nearly ruined the home mortgage industry he jumped ship, at a tidy profit. After finding out that Jersey didn’t want him back in govenment, he somehow got into MF Global.

Understand this, MF Global was the largest most successful commodity brokerage firm in the world and had been in existance for nearly 300 years. In two years under Corzine that all changed. Corzine was not even qualified to run a company of this magnitude. To qualify, or quite fankly, to even speak to customers about commodity trading you must first take a test and get a license to trade. There are several regualtory bodies that could have stopped his appointment including the NFA and CFTC. Instead, he was given a waiver and allowed to destroy this business and maybe the entire industry.

It is improtant to understand what happened at MF Global. As a requirement for trading in commodities and futures options, clients must open accounts and hold capital to cover the risk of trades they may enter. These accounts are called seg (segregated) accounts because the monies that are placed into the accounts remain the property of the client and are not the property of the clearing house (MF Global). The clearing house can keep the interest made on those accounts as a cost of doing business. Corzine’s bunch was not happy with the low interest rates that they were getting in the down markets so they got approval to go for riskier investments that would provide a higher yield. Sovereign debt such as Greek and Italian bonds were purchased. When the bonds were called in MF Global didn’t have the funds to cover and they lost about 11% of their clients’ segregated funds that wasn’t even MF Globals money in the first place.

Here’s where it gets interesting. MF Global files for bankruptcy and instead of the court appointing someone from the regulatory bodies that are familiar with commodities, they appoint James Giddens, a securities specialist from SIPC who was the trustee in the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy. He has no experience in the commodities markets and apparently doesn’t know that the seg funds belong to the clients and are not the property of the clearing house. At $900 per hour he is now making decisions on how to pay the creditors of MF Global for the mismanagement of the securities industry darling John Corzine not to mention his criminal activity of raiding seg funds.

The result — people who have accounts in any brokerage firm that deals in commodities futures and options are scrambling to get out of the industry because accounts that were supposed to be safe from the corporate criminals are now mearly just creditors waiting to get paid. Trustee Giddens seems to be favoring Bank of America and J P Morgan in putting them ahead of the the clients whose money it is in the first place. He should have immediatley released the seg funds minus the 11% to the customers (since it is their money) because that money was lost due to misdeeds of the company. Then the lost money becomes a debt that the customers can make a claim for in the bankruptcy process. Instead, the customers have been robbed once and are about to get robbed again by a trustee whose bill will surely will hit the 2 to 3 million before they see a dime and by banks that backed the risky sovereign debt bonds that Corzine never should have purchased in the first place.

This result is no different than what Fidel Castro did when he took over Cuba, he stole others’ property to finance his own regime. This is more than disgracful this is the United States Federal Courts version of croney capitalism and the condoning of criminal activity and as a nation have finally gone over the edge.

Down here in Florida we have a congressional race that epitomizes the battle in the fight to take back America. Ron Klein is the Democrat incumbant in C.D. 22. District 22 is a sliver of land that runs from Broward County (Ft. Lauderdale) to the Palm Beach County line. Ron Klein has held this seat for four years after defeating Republicam moderate E.Clay Shaw. Shaw held that seat that was gerrymandered in 1990 for a Republican leaning candidate. Two years ago, Allen West ran against Ron Klein and received little support from the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) that was run by Jim Greer. Oh how things have changed!

Jim Greer, has since been charged criminally for misappropriating funds from the RPOF and Allen West has been resurrected by the tea party and conservative republicans to become one of the brightest new stars in a very different Republican Party. The prior Florida Republican Party was led by turncoat Charlie Crist who strategically placed his own people in key party positions. A combination of the tea party movement and the conservative republicans have since purged the party of these wishy wash democrat lite foes who have ruined this party and this country.

Florida is now solidly conservative. I would like to acknowledge Eric Erickson for his part in this makeover. He has been out front in his support for Marco Rubio from the very beginning. That support has transformed this party and the nation into believing that we can take this country back from the socialists and the weak republicans.

The Florida picture will not be complete without the election of Allen West. To give you an idea of what is going on in this race check out this recent article in the Palm Beach Post. (keep in mind that this is the Palm Beach Post, a newspaper that is a liberal as any in the country.)

Allen West has the leadership qualities of a military commander because, quite frankly, that’s who he is. Now, it’s our turn to use military speak to send a message to Nancy Pelosi and her momma’s boy rubber stamp legislator with the rubber band backbone, Ron Klein. On November 2nd, we the people command Nancy Pelosi and Ron Klein to “stand down,” but until that moment, please support this great American hero, Allen West.

She defeated a candidate who attempted to paint her as a liberal and tried to destroy her by distorting the truth. That’s exactly the type of candidate I can’t stand. (See Mike Castle) When Rick Scott was successful in that tactic against a true conservative Republican, I was told to shut up and support him because he’s now our candidate. (I have to add, when he selected Jennifer Carroll as his running mate it made it easy to support him.) But I don’t hear the calls to support Kelly. She has won. Please look into this race. She is not the deamon that Lamontagne made her out to be.

This is not the same as Delaware and I don’t mean that New Hampshire is a Northeast blue state. Kelly Ayotte will represent NH as a conservative republican. Support her!

Of course, his ridiculous story line is that the stimulus is working, (just not as good as it should, because of George W. Bush.) No really, the economy is not really that bad. (never mind that unemployment is at nearly 10% nationally, and almost 15% in several states including Harry Reid’s, never mind that forclosures are continuing to flood the housing market at unsustainable rates.) Actually, Obama saved 3.5 million jobs, no really. (Just don’t ask where.)

So, what we get tonight is $50 billion to help fix our roads and public trasportation. Never mind that we spent over $800 billion to do that last year but didn’t quite get to it. (Appearently, there were not enough shovels ready for that project, back then.) We also should be happy to learn that small businesses will get tax credits for research and development, I guess as long as they don’t make more than $250,000 per year, which puts them in the too rich category.

It seems to me that Obama is a little late on fixing the roads. Now I understand him trying to fix public transportation, like Amtrack, so Joe Biden can go home, but the plan will be based on economic needs of the area and not infrastructure instability and danger. In other words, let’s pay off some union workers and to hell with the safety of the american commuters. (They should be driving bikes anyway.)

Sounds like a plan.

In the fight of his politcal life Harry Reid once again has stepped up to show he is truly the Democrat’s leader. In a show of that leadership he has broken with the President taking a position against the building of a mosque near ground zero in New York. In doing so Sharron Angle welcomed Harry to the correct side of the issue. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2010/08/17/religion_again_takes_center_stage_in_nevada_senate_race_106782.html

However, Sharron Angle would be wise to ignore the Speaker’s new found independance and focus on the issue that will not disappear for the Democrats, jobs and the economy. With unemployment in Nevada hovering at nearly 14% there is no issue that is more important to voters. Harry Reid’s response to the bad economy is to spout the Presidential Economic Advisors’ delusional boasting that this administration has created 3.5 million jobs. The should be only one response to Harry’s dilirious babbling, “Where?”

There is no need to get caught up in the conversations about seperation of church and state. The only discussion that needs be held is the one that discusses seperating Harry and the state. With his latest gaff on NPR, he states that the media only mentions the bad news in the economy. (Is there good news?) According to Harry, yes, those 3.5 million jobs.

Where?

Where?
