recommended if for nothing else than it has nothing to do with a certain hockey mom and whatever the heck she’s going to do and has something to do with the upcoming elections in 2010.

And I’ll be moving to the Jacksonville area come Aug 1st, so I’m interested in FL goings on now.

Do you know what percentage of the FL precinct committeemen slots are unfilled?

Assuming half of the slots are unfilled, as is the case on average nationwide, and assuming there’s roughly a 50-50 split in FL between conservatives and moderates within the ranks of the elected precinct committeemen, if conservatives would flock into the Party and ask to be appointed as interim PCs now, they might be able to influence Greer’s actions, or at least make him sweat about the outcome of the next round of leadership electitons in 2010.
