I think that it’s safe to say that Tom Garcia is unhappy about Suzanne Kosmas licking the hand that’s beating their district:
…Normally, I’d quibble about the ‘Marxist’ thing, mostly because the people staffing this administration aren’t smart enough to be Marxists (not a compliment: Marxism is intellectualism for stupid people*), but we’ll forgive the hyperbole this one time. After all, that fact that the President used FL-24′s space job situation as a flail with which to bring back safely into line a too-’independent’ Congresswoman must stick in the man’s craw.
Anyway: donations here. Don’t get mad; get even.

PS: Note that Garcia called Kosmas’ flip a day before it happened.
*How hard is it to farm? I mean, illiterate Copper-age Sumerians who plowed with sticks managed it! And yet those people couldn’t manage to keep an agricultural system running to save their lives. Often literally.

Make political payoffs illegal
DerKrieger (Diary) Sunday, March 21st at 5:19PM EST (link)Deals like the one Kosmas took are disgusting and accepting them is even more so. Short term gain for one member of Congress and/or their district in trade for pushing the entire country down the road to socialism? Those people should be ashamed of themselves.
I hope the GOP makes a campaign issues out of eliminating this kind of payoff.
And now I think we need to turn to the states to work hard to defeat O-Care on 10th Amendment grounds. Idaho and Virginia will be taking the lead.

Is he running on repeal?
DerKrieger (Diary) Sunday, March 21st at 5:29PM EST (link)I hope so and I hope others make this central to their campaigns. Elections of candidates who are promising repeal will send a powerful message.

Question??
Kayla Sunday, March 21st at 5:37PM EST (link)I’ve heard about the attorney generals in other states like VA, ID say they will go to court to challenge the individual mandate and opt out of Obamacare. My question is, if a state opts out and refuses the benefits are you still stuck paying the taxes for it or will just those people in those states that opt in pay the taxes?
Yes they will still have to pay
DerKrieger (Diary) Sunday, March 21st at 5:43PM EST (link)However, there is a possible piece of companion legislation that is being pursued by some states that would return any taxes taken to fund Obamacare to the states residents.

Woo_girl Sunday, March 21st at 6:56PM EST (link)I told the hub the other day I would want to do this. Stop sending them their pound of flesh and put it into escrow account. So it they make it easy for us to do, even better!
You can defy it individually
Menlo (Diary) Sunday, March 21st at 5:58PM EST (link)Under the bill, the government will do nothing to you if you neither buy insurance nor pay the penalty.
If enough people were willing to do it, the program might actually collapse. I don’t think they would though.

Raven (Diary) Sunday, March 21st at 8:51PM EST (link)I’m writing this post on a buddy’s computer because my Canada Dry (you owe me one of those, too) spewed all over mine when “How hard is it to farm?” registered.
Beautiful.
