Reviewing the February 2010 Fundraising numbers.

Well, well, well. Short version? All three Republican national committees raised more than their Democratic counterparts for the first time in… well, a while.

A while.

Raised CoH Debts
RNC 7.69 9.46 0.00
DNC 7.42 10.74 3.72
NRSC 4.60 12.86 0.00
DSCC 4.00 14.30 0.42
NRCC 5.08 6.06 0.00
DCCC 4.35 19.82 0.67
GOP 17.37 28.38 0.00
Dem 15.77 44.86 4.81

It’s not all sunshine and roses, of course: the DCCC’s maintaining an almost 14 million dollar distance over the NRCC, at least for the moment. On the bright side, the current ratio of at-risk seats is 53 to 6. Interesting to see how that shakes out.

PS: The usual drill:

RNC.
NRCC.
NRSC.

If it hurts too much, try Reverse the Vote! Specifically targets 24 Congressional Democrats in Red districts, goes straight to the general election candidates, the national committees don’t see a dime.

Audeamus pro audere est facere

The numbers are actually 55-6 for at-risk seats

You forgot to add LA-3 and TN-6, which are so certain to flip that Cook has them “Likely Republican”

Socialism is Oligarchy in disguise

And Only 3 of Those 6 GOP Seats Have Any Real Probabilty of "Flipping"

I’ll concede the Dems are probable/likely to pick up DE-AL, LA-02, and possibly IL-10.

But they’re *dreaming* if they think the Dems will take PA-06, PA-15 and especially CA-03 in the current environment. *Dreaming*.

I'm not worried about the $14 million lag between the RNC and DNC...

AceInTX (Diary) Sunday, March 21st at 8:46AM EST (link)

mainly because of people like me who refuse to give to the party any more and have elected to send contributions directly to candidates of our choice.

You’d thing the RNC, the NRSC and NRCC would get the message on this buy so far they have tin ears….

The good news however is…we have well funded candidates out there competing in districts where the RNC and the other party apparatus would never have tried….Dems are at risk who would have been left alone by the Party stratagists

The “Big Tent” analogy isn’t the correct one…the correct one is a MAGNET…we need to be a MAGNET that draws these independents in who are sick and tired of what’s going on in WashingtonFred Thompson

Its great to know that the RNC and DNC has fund raising activity.

I hope that the community can benefit from all the projects this money can produce.

Nice post updates!
