Interesting what people can take from a picture. Case in point:
When Glenn put up a post using it, he focused on the brutal elegance of that sign message:”You vote for Obamacare, we vote for your opponent.“ Which, by the way: we will. But what I took away from it was primarily the guy with the camera.
I’ve written this before, and now I’ll write it again: never go to a protest or political event without video recording equipment. I usually recommend a Flip, but I discovered at CPAC that my Canon PowerShot SD1200IS
is actually a perfectly suitable emergency video camera in its own right. Or you can just use your cell phone. Whatever it is, have something that you can use when circumstances warrant. Our opponents have not yet internalized the idea that every action and every word that they utter for the rest of their lives can be saved for posterity: be sure to take advantage of that.
And remember: if it wasn’t recorded, it didn’t happen. That’s the drawback of having video recorders everywhere; it’s much harder to convince people that something occurred when there’s no footage available.

NeoKong (Diary) Sunday, March 21st at 10:11AM EST (link)Over at Gateway Pundit Jim Hoft has a video debunking the claim that Tea Partiers were using the N- word and spitting at Dem reps Cleaver and Lewis. All the outlets reported it as fact last night without a shred of proof.
Absolutely disgusting.

THANK YOU
treeofliberty Sunday, March 21st at 10:53AM EST (link)for pointing that out! I was going crazy thinking I was the only one asking for one half decent shred of proof other than the “good word” of Demorats.
Even Republicans responded to the allegations without even a HINT of skepticism or demand of hard proof, hard evidence it
1. In fact happened
and
2. That it was without a doubt, Tea Party people and not the plethora of other protesters/organizations that were in DC on Saturday.
One would think that would be pretty standard to ask those questions instead of assuming the word of your opposition who clearly has much to gain painting your side as ugly as possible.
In this day and age...
neoavatara (Diary) Sunday, March 21st at 10:12AM EST (link)…if you don’t have video evidence, it never happened. It is absurd to think that we have to take the word of anyone for what happened at the protest rallies. When the man was beaten up in Missouri, liberals asked for actual evidence, saying he lied. So, what is the difference?
It is all a big, terrible joke.

doncorleone Sunday, March 21st at 11:52AM EST (link)These tactics that the progressives are using are nothing new. The nazis used the same methods to employ the “truth” 72 years ago. Shame on fox news for keeping Geraldo Riviera in a job, Rev. Sharpton’s take on the “truth” is glove worn, but, Cal Thomas? Say it ain’t so, the left would never have agents provocateur provoking, a very old, and very tired technique to garner a result that’s in their best interest. This without a shred of audio/visual evidence, wake up Fox
I'm hardly surprised by this...
Eric Olsen (Diary) Sunday, March 21st at 12:47PM EST (link)…nor should anyone else be.
We’re dealing with a collectivist mindset – one in which known falsehoods are propagated as fact in order to achieve “the greater good.”
Their playbook is remarkably simple, if not shameless and sophomoric: conceive the lie, seed it in the liberal blogosphere, then sit back and let the drones take it from there.
It is a truly effective way to proffer slander, given the preponderance of groupthink among much of the modern left. After all, when you lack the willingness to think for yourself, it becomes comforting to surrender individual choice to the collective.
Much like the Borg, they believe as they’re told, and will deny, in perpetuity, the existence of dissent.
