Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said on Fox News Sunday today that a majority of Americans don’t want the Democrats’ health care reform plan to pass — and that if Democrats go forward with reform, they’ll be ignoring “the opinion of the American population.”

And McConnell said he plans to delay the bill with lots of amendments on the Senate floor.

How’d that work out?

As much as I want Obamacare dead, please forgive me if I don’t trust the GOP leadership to kill it. As usual it is up to the footsoldiers to do the hard work.

The grass roots should keep the pressure on key Congressmen any way they can. Because with something as abhorrent as Obamacare, there is no such thing as too dead.

This thing is like a vampire rising from the grave to suck the blood out of all Americans.

When people clamor for no God but Caesar, Caesar dare not slumber nor sleep, lest he be weighed in the balance and found strangely wanting.

That the Democrats had five bullets in their gun that we had to try and dodge.
(1) Obamacare
(2) Cap and tax
(3) Card check
(4) net nonneutrality
(5) illegal amnesty

I thought for certain that we would be hit by at least two of these. Now it is looking like the gang that couldn’t shoot straight will miss us with all of them (knock on wood).

I said last week this thing is as dead as can be, and they will find a way to send it down the memory hole.
