That is why Obama has been stupid from the beginning. Worrying about the left base is stupid, because they are lemmings. Where are they going to go? They have a single track to follow, and that is the Democratic Party.

I think the real question is whether there will be a revolt from the base of the Democrats, not just the left, as they realize that this bill does not reduce costs, doesn’t improve quality of care, and will blow a hole in the deficit. Not to mention…every day that goes by is a day closer to the 2010 elections. And that does not bode well for Democrats.

Congresscritters won’t fully understand the depth of what they have done until their constituents turn on them. many of them just don’t care. Everyone who votes for this potentially final straw of bankrupting needs to go by whatever means possible.
