No photo ops for the press drones this year. When the party crashers show up this time, and the Secret Service is scrambling to figure out who is legit because of the “typical slapdash ” arrangements, the drones had better show some sympathy and restraint if they don’t want to get rolled again at Easter.

The press corps is the nose of the media dog, and the establishment media is the Obama base. The White House does itself no favors here.

During the 2004 election cycle, my son,who was a student at a college in D.C, worked for the NRC. He was ecstatic when Bush was reelected.They were invited to a white house luncheon to thank them for their hard work and he had a group photo taken with the President. As his parents, we received a white house Christmas card every year for the remainder of his term. He treasures the photo and we keep the cards in our photo albums. No one will ever match how wonderfully gracious the Bush family was as stewards of the people’s house.

They gave us this lump in the WH and the misfits and freaks around him. So the poor babies don’t get a chance to “feel human”? Good, maybe they’re not, and maybe this is the least of the poetic justice coming their way, at least one can hope.

This will probably do more to damage the artificial images of the WH than any policy stumbling, it hits where it hurts, media pride and sense of privilege.
In the meantime the WH continues to look like a zoo, and poor dumb Emanuel is probably wishing he stayed in Congress, his unearned reputation sliding further down the toilet.

The White House has been giving Christmas Parties for almost 200yrs. There havce got to be 50 yrs worth of retired or other ways employed staff that know how to do it. Heck any church or synagogue congregant could figure it out.
All the protocol issues are well known I am sure.

I DON’T want the media being FRIENDLY to ANY Administration PERIOD. I want it to be contentious and combative because then I know they are doing their jobs. WE know the leftist media will NEVER be that way with a Democrat however WE have seen them be exactly as I described with Republicans.
