Thursday, New York Times:
The Democratic governor, Jon S. Corzine, says he may revisit his plan to lease the New Jersey Turnpike to raise cash — a proposal that he abandoned last year in the face of intense opposition from lawmakers and voters.
Friday, Philly.com:
New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine says he has no plans to increase tolls or lease toll roads.
(The New York Times is sticking with their version.)
Via Jim Geraghty, who also pointed out this report that Christie spent the day hammering this. Which is smart of Christie: speaking as somebody who grew up in NJ, looking like you want to muck around with the toll roads situation is contraindicated.
Contraindicated.

Election is going Christie's way
crosley (Diary) Friday, October 30th at 7:13PM EST (link)This gaffe alone from Corzine could cost him the election. The main theme of this election is taxes, and this gives one more example of how Corzine wants to once again raise taxes.
Coupled with the great interview Christie have on Imus, I thin Christie is going to come out on top. I really see the Daggett vote collapsing on election day. I was not optimistic a couple weeks ago, but I am now.
If Republicans win NJ, a reliably Democrat state, I expect congressional Democrats to jump ship and distance themselves from Obama in a big way.
This is big
proudgop (Diary) Friday, October 30th at 7:20PM EST (link)It Corzine 24 hours to change his tune and say he was misquoted by NYTimes and yet the Times is sticking by their story and yet Corzine has not asked them to release the conversation?
As they say liar, liar pants on fire Corzine
Its still going to be close the Dems have a great ground game in the state

Fight Good Fight
proudgop (Diary) Saturday, October 31st at 1:16PM EST (link)The Corzine campaign is paying streetwalkers in Newark $300 per day, while their pay scale in Jersey City in $250 per day. In Camden, it’s $200
Fight good fight in Jersey people this really is battle to end corruption in that state and to end union empowerment.
