was a prime player in the financial meltdown. Why the Republicans won’t go after him, Barney Frank and the others that caused this mess is beyond belief. The evidence is very clear. There needs to be a concerted conservative voice to reveal the facts that the MSM have deliberately hidden from the American people from the real causes of this country’s financial woes.

My biggest fear with the Dodd/Countrywide connection is that the Democrats would either force him out or another Democrat would knock him off in the primary because of his dismal electability chances. That scenario looked very likely several months ago.

Connecticut is a liberal state that normally elects Democrats, so the only real chance a Republican has to win this seat is usually if there is some serious corruption charges on the Democrat. If a random, milquetoast Democrat runs for that Senate seat, they’re almost a shoo-in to win. Against Dodd though, there’s a very good chance for a Republican pick up in a very blue state.

If I were in charge of Republican “strategery” I would keep my powder dry on all of this until the election draws nearer.

The fundamental commencement of our most recent recession grew its roots in Mr.Dodd’s mortgage market shenanigans. His relationship with Countrywide is just one “leg” of the entire mess.

Dodd’s seeming “quid pro quo” typifies Democrats’ destructive role in causing this entire financial crisis. It is no small wonder why they believe closing their eyes long enough might make it go away.

dodd, schummmmmmmmer, frank, reid, pelosi, obama, deadfish rahm and the rest of the politicans that contributed to the down fall of the ACORN housing-banking scandal. They will start talking and the politicans will run for cover but Madhoff has a place waiting for them.

I have no confidence in this Congress to do a decent job of investigating anything because it is so partisan that the slightest whiff of a scandal railroads a Republican out of town but people like tax cheat Charlie Rangel is lauded for his work on the Ways and Means Committee.

I do like the fact that it’s hurting him in the fundraising department,
